Off-Topic: Warriors

No, not the golden state warriors.......screw basketball, stupidest sport ever.
I'm talking about my Junior Football team here in Sioux Falls. (5th and 6th graders) My boys have knocked off three higher ranked, undefeated opponents in a row in the playoffs and have made it into the Championship game at the University of South Dakota DakotaDome on Saturday at 4pm. (Yes, SD has a Dome, I worked out in it while in Law school. Played in a flag football league in it too, its pretty cool) After wins of 32-0, 25-0 and 13-0 against previously unbeaten teams, we go into the championship facing the last unbeaten team on the season.
So do a guy a favor and come saturday afternoon, take a minute to root for my boys in your head. Most of the kids on my team are all vikings fans and I've been using the vikings winning streak as motivation and an example of showing resolve against all opponents.

Nope, just me. I’ve got a couple Linebackers though that are really good for their age. We’ve been running an agressive 5-3 defense most of the time, then switching to a 4-4 zone coverage on passing downs. We got our 13-0 win by switching to a goalline all game against the opponent after taking 1 look at their Offense which was QB sneak based.
Gotta love youth football – taking it back to the basics.

The team we face in the championship is a spread team, we’ll be switching between a couple difference looks for this game probably basing out of a 3-5-3 and just doing some things with our outsidelinebackers all game.

I piss people off on a fairly regular basis. I cherish my right to speak my mind, whether I sound like an uneducated savage or not. I've never been accused of keeping what I think a secret, nor will I ever. Don't like it? I don't care.
