Brett Favre's Daughter Disses Packers
Check out this interview with brett favre's daughter
Check out this link to read an interview with Brett's daughter, Brittany. She talks about everything from the Vikings to the Packers to the Jets. This article was mentioned on TheJetsBlog.com. She talks a lot about how the new Packers managment did not want Brett back, reffering to Tedd Thompson.
Along with that, we find out about Brittany herself, she wants to be a journalist. Isn't that Ironic!

Good Interview....
I wouldn’t say that she really dissed the packers though. She just stated that her dad felt like he was pushed out by the new management. The story about the old truck was funny, it seems like something Brett would do.
She handled herself well
Sounds like she’s got a pretty good head on her shoulders. Not an easy thing for someone that grew up in (or near) the spotlight.
Fire Childress!
The title of this is extremely inappropriate. I wish someone would change it.
I’m really not all that comfortable with seeing Favre’s children highlighted, they should be left out of all this. I’d also like to see this interview verified (though it sounds legitimate). This person, Boxofmess, joined today specifically to post the link to his/her own site.
Leave the kids out of this please.

Why are you offended?
Brittany is an adult, she’s a junior in college and she’s studying to be a journalist. Is the interview legit?, IDK. But the interview was safe, entertaining, and informative.
I would agree with you If she was a minor. Or if she was being harassed and attacked with camera’s and paparazzi, but that doesn’t seem to be the case here. :~)
What's up with that?
It looks legit to me, the WOMAN is going to the College of Charleston (and she’s right, it’s a beautiful campus and a great town); she’s not a child.
The title might be cherry-picking, but the interview itself is great and gives some important confirmational insight on Brett Favre. I’m glad BoxofMess shared it with us.

It was an interesting interview
And if it was true then it does shine a light on certain things. I always had a feeling that Bret had gotten a nudge or two out the door, well more than a feeling actually. I felt it and i was a Vikes fan, and then the Jet’s trade was just rude.
Anyway, what really got me was that she seemed to really try to answer the questions from her heart and then reading the comments below just ticked me off all over again..
Jesus people why must you hate so much?
Like I told everyone, a long time ago...........
REVENGE will come, and the Great One will be vilified!!!!!!!!!!!
vilified?
This is from Websters
Pronunciation: \ˈvi-lə-ˌfī\
Function: transitive verb
Inflected Form(s): vil·i·fied; vil·i·fy·ing
Etymology: Middle English vilifien, from Late Latin vilificare, from Latin vilis cheap, vile
Date: 15th century
1 : to lower in estimation or importance
2 : to utter slanderous and abusive statements against : defame
Now I’m not sure what a transitive verb is, but I’m pretty sure he’s already been vilified maybe your thinking of another word.
Vindicated maybe?
Rather be vindicated than villified LOL!
It’s all good……

I don't think that word means what you think it means... :)

What Would Those Posters Expect Her to Say About Her Father?
If they didn’t want to read something favorable about BF, they shouldn’t have read the interview. Of course she’s going to speak favorably about him – from everything I’ve read, he’s a great father!
All I know is that BF and my daughter were born a few weeks apart, and when BF was playing football at USM, my daughter was the drum major in the band, except for her freshman year when she was a “flag”. In that freshman year, in the very first game against Tulane, USM got behind, they brought BF in, and he played the most exciting brand of quarterback I’d ever seen, bringing them from behind to win the game. We never left the games at half time, because watching him play was so much fun. I saw every college game he played, most in person, and I’ve followed his pro career.
He obviously gets a lot of love, but there are obviously a lot of people who are VERY jealous of his success – that’s the only explanation I can figure for the hateful things some people say about him.
I, for one, plan to ENJOY his games – he continues to be, for me, more fun to watch than any other player.
I’m a new Vikings fan and a long-time Saints fan, so this has been an exciting year!

Welocme, and thanks for sharing that
I know exactly what you mean. I didn’t see those college games of his, but I’ve heard stories and they sounding incredible. I wonder if there are any films of them around …
YES
I would love to find out the truth. So far we only hear what the press tell us. We all know the press don’t lie. wink wink…..
I gotta admit I don't see a dis either.
Nice interview.

Maybe because she was speaking against TT
Obliquely at best but it was there. Personally I think the poster did it like that because he was on a Vikes site. I"m sure his title over on Acme was probably different. (I can hope)
Diss???
I’m with you puddnhead. Yeah they were showing Brett the door and his daughter didn’t like it. I didn’t hear alot of dissing going on. Hey the Pack wanted Rodgers they got him. The guy can play. Maybe after Favre retires he can take a clue from Brett and come on over and play for us. When is his contract up? Hey Aaron wouldn’t it be nice to play with Jared Allen than against him. Its healther too. To be able to hand the ball off to A.P. and have a decent defense. Think about it. Its not as far fetched as you think.
The Other Side
For the past two years, Favre’s own voice has been drowned out by the outrage from the Packers and their fan base, the opportunism of the sports media trying to get a handle on the issue and own it for themselves, and the admittedly amusing hype surrounding the apparent indecision of a man who can’t seem to decide whether or not to retire. Many people managed to blame Favre for all of it; after all, he was the central figure and the situation was driven by his choices.
But not many folks really listened to Brett Favre himself, his own words, exactly what he was saying.
The one thing that those who continue to cry “traitor” and hate on him seem to forget is that Brett Favre didn’t leave the Green Bay Packers because he wanted to do so; they pushed him out the door and it wasn’t a snap-decision. It was the end result of long-built up pressure. I suspect what many think of as a desire for revenge may be more like ironic justice to Favre himself.
I really enjoyed this interview because his daughter’s perspective reflected directly on Brett Favre’s decision and thoughts, she was there, lived with him and knows him. For me, personally, it sets aside some of my own reservations about Brett Favre and I’m going to enjoy watching him play much more than I would have before reading this. I might even start liking him :)

Comment sfrom Favre on field aftr today's game were very telling
You could hear the relief mixed with weariness in his words, see it in his face: “No matter what I say, someone is gonna find a way to twist my words.”
I really expected Favre to be unable to handle today well. That he did — heck, beyond “well” — makes me very confident about what is to come. The guy has ice water in his veins.
Truth
I make my living by finding the truth and exposing lies. In the courtroom. I have done it for over a quarter of a century. It’s an art as much as a science — perhaps like playing QB. You get a “feel” for things — things you can’t always articulate — that tell you whether someone is lying/fudging the truth and when someone is speaking honestly. Honesty does not always equal the the truth, because sometimes even honest people get it wrong. But for those of us in the business, we can smell honesty and deceit.
Given all the circumstances, it is almost unimaginable to me that this college student was not speaking from the heart. There are parts of this test that ring so true that I cannot imagine it was “planted” by some PR guy — things like a young woman beginning to regret those “awkward” teen years of separating herself from her parents. This whole pice just screams “integrity.”
How proud Brett Favre must be. Of all his accomplishments, raising this person to be the person she has become is the one of which I am the most envious.
Each and everyone of us KNOWS that the essence of life exists in honesty, integrity, sincerity and love. We experience disappointment, and our egos resort to cynicism and name-calling, when we perceive them lacking. There is just no reason for anyone to continue to harp on Favre the way some are doing. DC Purple hits the nail on the head — if you focus on what Favre himself has said and the circumstances in which he has said it, there is really nothing to hate about him. There is MUCH to cheer for.
GO VIKES!!!
