Report: ESPN Completely Misses Brett Favre Vs. Green Bay Packers Storyline
"I was looking at a newspaper, and it said, 'Favre Sacks Former Team,' and at that point I realized we really missed one," ESPN president George Bodenheimer told reporters. "I just want to apologize to our viewers. Had the Favre-Packers connection dawned on us sooner, fans could have enjoyed the same quality sports journalism they have come to expect from ESPN: driving storylines into the ground and exploiting every one of their subplots to the point of nausea."

Hahaha
The Onion is the best thing to happen to “sports reporting” since Bill Simmons.
RIP Bodhi - Not tragic to die doing what you love. You want the ultimate thrill, you gotta be willing to pay the ultimate price.

You forgot one more item Anthony
You should have added this right after exploiting subplots……..“as well as our creative ability at creating a story that truly does not exist.”

My favorite...
“I only wish these two teams played again this year so we could have a chance to fix our mistake,” Doria added.

Congress plans to conduct a hearing next month on two professional football players whose suspensions were blocked by a federal appeals court.
ESPN reports that congress is considering looking into the Williams Wall/Starcaps case. Just what we need, congress getting involed in this case. After the financial bailout I’m sure they will do a dandy job if they get involved in this.

Fabulous...
they’re so busy sticking their noses where they don’t belong, it’s a miracle they get anything done…Oh yeah, that’s right…They don’t.

I've noticed that those two had nothing to say about it
when the conversation turned from inane little quips about Congress “stickin’ their nose where it don’t belong” to actually examining the legal issues of the case.
