WILL AD get a two hundred yard game this season?
I think he has done a great job. THe ball is being spread around which is really good. But I think we all would like to see a 200 yd game this season. Will it happen? I do mean on the ground I think he has had more then that if you could passes. Are teams just to ready for him to get that many yards?
I think he will do it again this year even if it is not that important, winning being the biggest thing by far!

Doubt it
Would love to see it sometime in January though…

Eh
The more important part is that time after time, he has said he DOESN’T CARE. Winning=1st to him and that is all that matters. Plus, with AD not having to take so many knocks he’ll be fresher and ready to go into the playoffs for many years to come.

as I stated
Winning is the most important, but the Fans would enjoy it.
it is better to be thought of as dumb then to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Exactly--how many times have we seen him and the Silver Fox walking off together, smiling?
AD wants his ring. He is like a kid in a candy store, ready to lock and load when needed, but happy to shine in the reflected light of a Hall of Famer. It’s a beautiful attitude.

Run All Day...
He has 3 great potential chances to do it!
He could do it vs. the Lions
He could do it vs. the SeaHawks
He could do it vs. the Bears
We just got to give him the ball a little more. Rest up on Favre’s arm being that we are now in the 2nd 1/2 of the season. No reason to stress it out too much. It seems that the Vikings are throwing more, which is great, but we are drifting away from our run-first style gameplay.
However, I do not think the short passes is putting to much stress on Favre..

well he does own the bears
So I predict 2 200 yard games at least
Adrian Peterson, enough said.

Has he been playing nicked up
I wonder if the back has bothered AD more than he let on. In games 3 – 7 he didn’t hit the holes the same way he used to. However, Adrian did seem to get some of the dynamic running style going again against the Packers in game 8, I think he’’ll hit 200 again this season. We need to pace Brett to protect against a late season fade, so I think they’ll be running a little more for the next three games.

Very possible
This Sunday against the Lions or against the Bears who both have whoaful D’s. Bengals, AZ or NY, no way, that will be a more balanced attack there.
"That is the craziest sonofabitch I ever saw, how many more like him do you think are up there?"

No.
He shouldn’t need to do it, and it’s better long-term if he doesn’t (see also: the end of Jamal Lewis’s career).

Keep an even keel
I’m torn on this. I would be nice to rest up Favre a bit these next couple of games and get our O-Line used to run blocking again for a bit. However, I would really like to end this year with people starting to forget about AD. If we can do that and people start playing against the pass in the play offs I think our chances start rising much higher to go deep in them as long as Chilly makes the adjustments.

# of carries is the key
Defenses key on AP. Farve has made them pay for this so our passing game has been better, including the emergence of AP as a receiver. More yards is easy. Give him the ball more. But that’s not the best thing. Larry Johnson was a great back. Running 400 times in one year killed his long term ability. I love the more balanced attack. Come playoff time teams will not be able to stack the box.
Getting 200 yards will just be a happenstance of AP breaking several long runs in one game. That will happen when the O-Line gets better at opening the rush lanes. So far they have really improved at protecting Farve and his penchant for holding the ball a tad longer than appropriate.
My hope is that the next three games we see big improvement in the rushing attack of the O-Line.
There are so many good things that the Vikes can do. What they will feature this week is anybody’s guess. I’m just glad I’m not a defensive coordinator trying to stop this attack.
