Going on the record for tonight's game
I'm running my NFL picks column for tomorrow, but I wanted to make sure everyone knows my pick for tonight's game between the 49ers and Bears. So here it is:
49ERS over Bears: Sure, the Niners have lost four in a row--beware the Curse of Crabtree! But with all respect to the Packers' sorry excuse for an offensive line, the Bears o-line is one of the worst in the league. Looks like their gamble on the corpse of Orlando Pace didn't work out so much. Jeff George, er, I mean Jay Cutler has been erratic at best and he treats a pass rush about as well as the kid that passed out in the spelling bee a few years back. It also doesn't help that the Bears D has more holes than Spongebob's c*ck. I see Frank Gore and Vernon Davis blowing up tonight, and not just because I'm starting them both on one of my fantasy teams. I swear.
Check back tomorrow afternoon for my analysis of Jared Allen's deflowering of Matthew Stafford the Vikings' upcoming clash against the Lions along with the rest of my Week 10 NFL picks.

Hard game to call
because of the inconsistency of both teams. I’ll go along with you and pick the 49er because of the homefield advantage.
I laughed.
… and I told my wife…
It also doesn’t help that the Bears D has more holes than Spongebob’s c*ck
She said you could have stopped with ‘Spongebob’…
I’m glad you didn’t!!

I debated on including that last word
But decided it was necessarily to really drive the point home. :)

Tonight's Over/Under on times Lovie Smith
Looks like he is:
A) About to Cry
B) About ready to throw an atrocious challenge
C) Looks clueless after a big 49er’s play
D) Wishes it were 2006.
12 is the number. Taking all bets that I will neither accept nor honor.

But wait...
All those faces look roughly the same. Doesn’t this picture look like “All of the above”?

Congrats
This is the picture that I was referring to.

My Prediction:
Lovie Smith tries to get Mike Singletary to play for the Bears tonight, because a 5-something Singletary is better than just about anything the Bears currently field.
Singletary’s response:
"We're used to Favre-a-palooza now. We're engulfed in Favre-a-palooza. It's not even Favre-a-palooza anymore. He's family now."
--Vikings TE Visanthe Shiancoe, on Brett Favre

From watching this game so far
I certainly wouldn’t trade Favre for Jay Cutler.
And I might not trade Tarvaris Jackson or Sage Rosenfels for him, either.

You kidding me?
Jay Cutler is making Brad Johnson look like Favre.

A tale of two QBs
Funny you would make the Favre Cutler link when their 49ers game came down to the the end just like ours did, except Favre found one of our receivers in the endzone and Cutler found a receiver for the other team.
Cutler was so offended by McDaniels going after Cassel his fragile psyche hasn’t recovered. He’s damaged goods.
A good coach makes his team better, he doesn’t wait for a better team to make him look good.
lol except,
favre didn’t throw 4 INT’s before that last play, whether that last play was good or bad.

You're looking pretty smart right now, eric. Good pick.
5 interception performance by the biggest QB bust since… since… nah I got nuthin. I will say this:
BAHAHAHAHAHA!
Purple is the new black.
Loss #1 for the week, as hoped for...
Next comes Green Bay and Detroit turns at taking another L…hahahahahahahahahaha!
How sorry is Chicago? Sorrier than Detroit…..
That says it all…..
I am amending my split games prediction ref Chicago/Vikings….
We will take both of the games….
I would rather be IN the Arena than watching from the stands...That is my life!

Wow, what a beautifully horrid game to watch
The Berribles are quite possibly more over rated than Windows 7. And they perform about as well as Vista 1.0

Wow, what a baseball ga.........
errrrrr, I mean football game.
"That is the craziest sonofabitch I ever saw, how many more like him do you think are up there?"
Sure I got the game right
But I’ll never get those 3.5 hours back of watching awful football. Good gracious Cutler can be terrible when he wants to be. I’ll take the big heaping dose of shadenfreude!!

Yeah, that was some unwatchable football
It was like watching a 2006 Vikings game, lol. But at his worst I don’t think TJ looked that bad. TJ has made some bad decisions, but he at least has the intelligence to throw the ball into the third row if nothing’s there. Cutler…yikes.

I've picked
the Bears the past two weeks. Terrible, I know, but here’s to me picking the Bears every game from here on out. It’s the TV83 curse!!!

The Packers, that’s who.

Needed more penalties
While that was the most inspirational football game ever played, if they only had more penalties called, it would have been perfect.
Don't cha just Lovie it.
Da Bears can’t get out of their own way. 5 interceptions & they lose by 4 points. I don’t think either team wanted to win. I’m glad the 9ers won but holy crap 5 interceptions. They should have won by 3 TD’s
Everybody's a target for blame over at WCG...
Others have called it a funeral… that’s pretty close, except at a funeral, somebody says a few good things about the deceased.

all they really have left over there is talking about how terrible and pathetic we Vikings fans are. According to WCG we are all illiterate bastards. I find it rather amusing. I’ve posted over there a number of times and always act intelligent and cordial (meaning I try not to be the a-hole I am around here, haha… [sorry fellas, I still love you all, I swear]) regardless of what guys like brands have done over here.
Doesn’t it feel so good watching Cutler and Pace completely flop this season?

Cutler yes, Pace no
Big OSU fan, and I am a big fan of Orlando Pace. Met him at the airport here in St Louis once, and he was a very nice guy. I had wished he had hung it up, because I actually feel bad for him. He was so dominating for so long, and time and injuries have just caught up to him.
I wish him well.
