I didn't do my weekly column this week. This is the first time I've been on the computer since Friday afternoon. Long story, and you don't want to hear my excuses, so the bottom line is I flaked this week. I know the early games are halfway done, but I figured I should at least post my picks of the week to keep continuity. (Home team in CAPS)

VIKINGS over Lions (Eliminator pick, still 9-0)

Falcons over PANTHERS

DOLPHINS over Buccaneers

Jaguars over JETS

STEELERS over Bengals

Saints over RAMS

TITANS over Bills

Broncos over REDSKINS

Chiefs over RAIDERS

Last week: 7-6

Season so far: 91-39 (including 1-0 on Thursday night's 49ers over Bears pick)

Listing the picks here is just to make sure I'm not lying about them.

But hopefully one or two people enjoy my quick trip around the week’s NFL matchups. It’s my one chance a week to throw in my two cents about other NFL teams besides the Vikings and whoever they’re playing.

I piss people off on a fairly regular basis. I cherish my right to speak my mind, whether I sound like an uneducated savage or not. I've never been accused of keeping what I think a secret, nor will I ever. Don't like it? I don't care.
