Directv NFL Ticket outragious cost
I am a displaced Vikings fan, I am done paying dtv $380 a year to see my team open up a can of whoopass on the competition. It turns out that if I (Do not "Drink") and go out for a sandwich and an iced tea, it's cheaper than paying the annual fee at DTV. on the weeks that the Vikings are not televised around here.
I cannot express my gratitude for Brett coming to Mn. to play ball like a passionate player just to ensue the game.

If you have an internet connection, and especially have an HTPC, and you have the ability to figure out bittorrent setup (which isn’t that much beyond an email client in complexity), and if you can wait 1-2 days to watch the game … then this is the way to watch pretty much any game you want, for free, in your own living room (or whatever it is y’all have in Dubai)
Yep....
This is what am doing now….just being a little shhhhhhhhh ’bout it lol!
Saw the game from Sunday this AM…..
Would be nice to see live, but this ain’y bad…..
I use here and NFL Com (when they work) to follow as the game happens….
Thanks!

That's my method here in the DC area :)
Ah, ah,
We come from the land of the ice and snow,
From the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming!
SKOL!
I watched last Sunday's game
and a couple early games w/ myp2p. So far the streamtorrent download at the p2p site has worked w/o fail. Recommended.
Brett will come back for another two seasons........
If we all show him how much we love and need him.
No question Brett can play through the 2011 season.
R4F sometimes I beileve you're Bretts daughter. :P

Hey, if it works and we and he get a ring, why not do it Elway style, go for the repeat, if it works, retire on top of the world, if not, hey, you did the best and still have another ring. But there is no way he is going to be around for two more seasons on top of this one.

Whenever he retires I hope we grab him as a coach or coordinator
He’d be a great QB coach and he knows how to call plays so OC isn’t out of the question. Might liven up the play calling that is frequently criticized around here.
It's app $24 a game
Which is cheaper than lunch and a couple beers at Buffalo Wild Wings.
Sunday Ticket is the greatest invention ever.

A thread I can really relate to
I looked far and wide during the preseason for a way to watch the games at home without paying the DirectTV extortion. The NFL actually offers all game broadcasts to people outside the US and Canada but since they want to sell their own advertising for that and not the network’s advertising they already sold, they can’t let us see that.
So I actually paid for their nearly worthless NFL Game Rewind service, which offers great video quality, but none of the games are available until after the Sunday night game is over, and then they disable the entire service during the Monday night game. So you really can’t watch the Sunday games until Tuesday and they don’t post the Monday night game until Wednesday night! The only nice thing about it is that they edit out all the commercials so it takes a little less than 2 hours to watch a game on it—although I’ve only used it twice.
I end up watching most of the games via “illegal” streaming services, even though I paid the NFL for the right to watch the games already.
If someone from the NFL actually reads this. I’d be happy to pay MORE for a high quality stream of the game AND I’d be willing to watch the network advertising as well. But for gods sakes there are 10s of thousands of displaced fans, people that travel for work and freaks like me that don’t want cable or dish that want to watch the games—maybe even hundreds of thousands. Why are you trying to make it so difficult for us?
A good coach makes his team better, he doesn’t wait for a better team to make him look good.
Justin.tv
It works I’ve seen pretty much every game. A couple have been taken down at half but you can usually find another one posting up to take its place.
It sucks I have to break the rules to do this, but as a single Dad of a young child I really can’t go out to a bar and watch the game and living in North Carolina this is the best I can do.
Thanks to Brett though I’m getting a lot more Vikings games on Fox that I can watch, so I have to truly appreciate that.
