Looking for some info on how the playoffs are set-up...
Wondering if someone can answer this question for me. How are the play-off organized? I ask because I occasionally pop over to check out "The Absurdly Premature Playoff Picture" blog post at Yahoo Sports (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/The-absurdly-premature-playoff-picture-Week-10?urn=nfl,203407) and a few weeks back they had the Packers making the Playoffs but they were on the other side of the NFC playoff bracket branches (so to speak) - after this past week's win, they've been moved to a position where we'd have to play them BEFORE getting to the NFC Championship game (assuming that we hold true to form here and win the Division as it looks like we might).
What determines the exact positioning of wild-card teams in the brackets?

Im pretty sure this is how it goes but dont quote me
The 1 and 2 get the first week off.
The 3 faces the 6 in the first week
The 4 faces the 5 in the first week
The lower seeded (like number 6) team of the two teams that won then face the 1 in the second week
The higher seeded (like number 3) team of the two teams that won then face the 2 in the second week
Then the winners of the games in the second week face each other in the third week.
Then that winner goes to the Super Bowl.

It's very hard to beat a team 3 times in one year
Just ask the packers how that turned out for them in 2004
