When I Think of the Seahawks...

I think of growing up a Viking fan in "Seahawk Country", which is to say Portland, OR. Not even a home team, just a team NEAR us, which is even worse. Week in, week out, Seahawks on tv. Being forced to go to sunday morning church, then coming home for the afternoon game only to see who on tv? The Seahawks. Being at Qwest Field a couple of years ago to see and hear THIS happen, nearly makes up for a wasted childhood...

Um. Yeah. :)

Ah, ah,
We come from the land of the ice and snow,
From the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming!
SKOL!

Think we see Percy or AD do similar return/run this weekend? I do….maybe both!!!!!

I would rather be IN the Arena than watching from the stands...That is my life!

When I think Seahawks...

I think of a friend who seems to enjoy living in constant misery.

I think of a branch of my family that has good coffee, if nothing else.

I remember when “The Boz” was all the hype and rage…and then a colossal bust.

Not "The Boz".

Mr. National Communists Against Athletes himself. Didn’t he win an Oscar for some “Biker Flick” (note sarcasm)..

Stone Cold

I never saw it, but I’m sure it was as terrible as his mullet.

The Boz

The Boz once tried to tackle Bo Jackson.

Who was that guy?

What was the name of that good RB we had back then?
Chester Taylor, you say? Hm, never heard of him. Wonder what happened to him….

Used to live in Seattle

Had over 100 days of rain in a row and I moved down to Wilmington NC. Where we have 365 days of beach in a year. I lost the last of my respect for that place when they lost the Sonics. Man, almost teared up that day, The great teams they had…

Now we’re looking at losing the Vikes.. Maybe I have to stop rooting for teams I like…

LA Vikings

I too am a PDX Viking fan. And Seahawk hater for the same reason. Viking are headed to the west coast in a couple of years, so we’ll probably get more coverage. And easier access when we want to travel to a game.

Not yet they aren't

No offense, but I hope you have to buy tickets for away games for a very, very long time. MN VIKINGS! Any place else is just wrong!

Hear hear!

I don’t even live in MN and I still would hate to see the team moved. I’m more than happy watching them the couple of times they come down here to play the Panthers.
