After much deliberation, the winner of the Seahawk Ticket is CitrusFLViking. Thank you for all who participated. The following is CitrusFLViking comment:

Doing this for a friend

who help raise money during my hospital stay. He can’t afford games bu twould love to go. So I’ll try for him.

Simple- Percy is a young stud who let all the negative crap roll off his back when people tried to make a big issue of it. He stood up like a man and played and practiced like a man. In my encounter with him he was genuinely personable and respectful. Especially when meeting with people of special needs. I told him that this state will embrace you if you just keep embracing the the fans. He told me he had heard that and hoped he can live up to what fans expect of him. Percy leaned over and gave me a hug as he went to visit a little girl in a wheelchair. Those little acts make him a man I can respect. He has not embarrassed us as a representative of this state and certainly not as a player. He proved his critcs wrong.

For being selected the winner now has to right an essay

after the game recommend your friend write a quick fan post of the game what he thought sights,sounds, smells (bbq)etc…. for those that arent in reach of attending the game… maybe few pics … awesome…

I will have him wite something. He is a great guy. He never had much as far as material things bu thave never heard him grumble or complain. He finds joy in simple pleasures like walking his dog and watching games on TV. If any of you werte to meet this guy ( who I have known for years) you would find him a loyal friend and varing person. He adopted his wifes son and loved him as his own. He was also blessed with another son of their own. He devotes his life to family and friends and loves the Vikings.
Rest assured friends, this prize went to a wonderful person. With both of us having little $ he didn’t hesitate to drive me to Mankato as he knew it was a dream of mine to go to see training camp. He wouldn’t take a penny and I had to insist he take something for his efforts. He was happy with a a dog and drink and wished I could have done more. This is something he will be thrilled with.
I know he reads the blogs but don’t know if he is refistered so he does love reading DN.
I will have him write something even if I have to copy and paste it. I am sure he will be happy to and I know he has mentioned already how grateful he was.

Just got a call

He is at the rail station at Ft Snelling and just getting on the train to head to the dome.
He was so excited. Almost put a tear in my eye. I am going to call him while i watch the game at the local establishment.
He said to thank all when I mentioned your notes.
