Watching Ohio St/Michigan and this guy caught my eye
Kurt Coleman, Safety from Ohio State
Watching this game, this guy stood out to me
he made some good plays against the run
and also has two interceptions
the second one, he made a great play to jump infront of the reciever and came down with the ball
his hands seem to be great and his coverage seems good too
http://recruiting.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=8&c=1&nid=1809245
seems like a hard hitter too, and maybe we could transfer him to CB to have two hard hitters in Winfield and Coleman

a 3rd or 4th rounder seems good too
and 3rd best safety available

Why Do People Question The Vikings' Status?

And why he caught your eye??
Cause he made that big interception from the saftey position while in the deep cover 2(something our saftey’s havn’t done much of) as soon as Matt Millen(of all people) said he covered all that ground from that defense, I wondered the same thing. I’m a Viking and Buckeye fan, been watching Coleman for 4 years, he got better each year and should have impactful NFL career!
he also
played the run well
and seemed to hit hard
should be well worth keeping an eye on him then
A bird in the hand is worth about 10.99 at KFC and makes me lick my chops
Yummy!!!!!
Only 5'-10" and 195lbs
The nfl receivers are getting taller and heavier and faster every year. Although this player has the credentials to play at the next level you have to ask yourself “Is this what we want our defense to look like?” I’m hesitant to draft any DB that isn’t at least 6’ tall. A safety over 200lbs is also nice to withstand the pounding of tackling the bigger running backs.
Sometimes though you just have to draft a football player. This kid certainly passes that test.
