Nate Burleson had a good game

Nate Burleson had 6 catches for 100 yards. He was a good, solid receiver, and it was nice to see him do well in his return to the Metrodome. It was sad to see him go.

Nice win for the Vikings today.

BOOM!

Paul Allen is the best

From the only TRUE North division

I didn't get to see the game

so this is a little enjoyment. Being a blowout it probably won’t be shown on NFL replay, but that’s a good thing.

My bad

Wrong Paul Allen

FYI

For any Seahawks fans, Paul Allen is the Vikings play-by-play announcer.

The more famous Paul Allen is the billionaire who owns several sports teams, including the Seahawks.

Obviously, this thread was talking about the Vikings play-by-play announcer Paul Allen.

I hope Seahawks owner Paul Allen beats cancer. I’m pulling for him.

Yeah

Because I’d make fun of a guy with cancer.

Good assumption.

No wonder “consider the source” is becoming cliche.

Wow, That was the most lopsided one of those I've heard in a while

Did the Seahawks VOX get like 2 plays? What a game!

Lower Deck Tickets on 50 yard line behind Vikings bench = $119.00
Parking by the Metrodome = $25.00
Souvenir Soda = $6.50
Being there for 296 = Priceless

Sidney is a stud.

I may be mistaken, but was that a Vikings highlight reel that didn’t feature a single big play by Adrian Peterson? My mind has been boggled…

In AP I trust
F-A-R-V-A =/= F-A-V-R-E
Okay, I was wrong about Favre.

If this is what happens when we play a complete game

No other team in the league can even come close.

by Jepp The Viking on Nov 23, 2009 12:51 PM CST reply actions   0 recs

Not a complete game

The Vikings didn’t dominate the first quarter. The Vikings only had two takeaways. The Vikings didn’t have a 100-yard rusher. Adrian Peterson was mostly held in check.

The Vikings can play better.

by medicineball on Nov 23, 2009 1:59 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

Let’s give the coaching staffs on both sides more credit. The Seahawks’ coodinator tweaked and disguised their defenses coming in, making the first quarter a stalemate. In the second quarter, Bevell and company adapted with new offensive formations and unraveled it.

AP had 80+ and Chester had 70+

i think they were ok on the ground

AP had 80 yards by the third quarter. They really didn’t need him after that but played him for 1 or two series in the fourth.

NFL Network

Jamie Dukes said it on TV weeks ago: Most people still don’t understand that having Favre and Peterson is a “pick your poison” decision for NFL defensive coordinators, and the Vikings’ D up front is strong enough to keep most opponents in check. The idea that the Vikings are a mirage is itself the real mirage.

by Elgar on Nov 23, 2009 2:21 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

we're a mirage of a mirage...

and really, simply… a solid football team.

I BELIEVE...

NO RESPECT FOR THE VIKINGS.....

There are only 3 teams that have out played the rest of the NFL.

At 10-0- 0, there are only two teams tied for 1st Place; Indianapolis Colts , & New Orleans Saints!

At 9-1-0, there is only the Minnesota Vikings in 3rd Place.

At 8-2-0, there is nobody!

At 7-3-0, there are four teams tied for 4th Place; Arizona Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots,& San Diego Chargers!

At 6-4-0, there five teams tied for 9th Place, Denver Broncos,Green Bay Packers, Jacksonville Jags, Philadelphia Eagles, &Pittsburgh Steelers.

At 5-5-0, there are two teams tied for 11th Place, Baltimore Ravens & Houston Texans.

The Press is all in love with New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colts. I feel that the Press are overlooking the Minnesota Vikings with Brett Favre and Friends, who are dominating just about all the NFL statistics this year.

The East Coast Teams suck air, same with the West Coast Teams.. Only two teams in the South are 10-0-0 . Only Team in the North at 9-1-0 is the Minnesota Vikings!

I have looked at the remaining games on the Vikings schedule for this season, and there is no team that is capable of stopping them from finishing 15-1-0 ! Any team that get into the Playoffs as a Wild Card do not stand a chance of going as far as the Super Bowl!

Everyone we meet in life give us happiness, some by their arrival, others by their departure!
