Happy
T-bird day,we always spend the day before with my wifes family and mine just before T-B day, means I have to eat 2 dinners with gusto.Tough choice as I would rather do the odd ,even year, one gets the christmas, and other gets the T- bird.
I wish that Easy button worked, but it doesnt.lifes easy choices doesnt work eh.
We came up with our own idea,we paid cash for rooms in advance, for suites in another town, and we are eating 1 meal this year.So for all you Vike fans,Happy T-Bird day,for the next 2 days we wont be near a comp.phone, cell or any other means of communication.
Wish you well, and your familys.and Ill see you all on sat.

Just an idea that my friend came up with
to have a friends Thanksgiving. This one is especially fun for of us in the pre-children years but after the entering the workforce period. On the weekend prior to Thanksgiving we all get together at someone’s house to celebrate Turkey day with friends who we normally wouldn’t get to because we are all with our families.
Those of us with spouses and a large number of family members know how hard and occasionally stressful it is to appease all sides of our families. It is nice to be able to choose to spend a weekend with friends and have no conflicts or hurt feelings. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed.

Evil we tried that, what happens is I end up fixing stuff around the place and the kids dont get to enjoy themselves. Not really the way we want to spend T-bird day,but this year I got to sit in front a T.V. watch football, kids got to watch movies and be kids.Wife got caught up on a few books and so far so good.
Was a really good T-bird day for us,except Lions lost ,Giants lost, other then that everyone had a good time,we love the Family, but most times holidays mean more work and we are drained at end of them.We hope our Familys (both mine and hers)realize we have our own family, but after 25 yrs we dont think it sinking in and will take our holidays.
I hope that all at DN had a good day,you all. had a good a feast as we did.Lets hope that our season ends as good as it started.
