The Real Jared Allen

For those of us who use Twitter as a tool for the sports world, Jared Allen has been active today. He seems to be a little upset at Mike Tyson aka "Real Mike Tyson". Since I got home from the deerstand at 1pm Nov. 9 Jared has been going off on Tyson on his Twitter page. Tyson has shot back with several tweets as well, and both men have gone a little to far with some of the "jabs".

Anyway it got me thinking, who would win in a Fight?

Actually

I would take Jared Allen all the way on this one. Jared Allen is a professional athlete in his prime, AND he trains MMA. Having been a College Wrestler and spending a few years training MMA its a night and day difference between trained and non-trained. PLUS with Tyson being a boxer, he would be terribly one-dimensional, one take down and he would probably have no idea how to get off his back or block the shots raining down from above.

Plus Tyson is old.

Again, Jared Allen all the way. No joke.

Ummm, no.

Have you ever seen professional athletes (other than boxers) fight? It’s pretty comical generally. I really think you are grossly underestimating how good a professional boxer is, even one way past his prime. One punch with no gloves on and that is the end of that story.

Its hard to tell

Straight up boxing JA has no chance. Get them with some 4 ouncers on, and I give Jared Allen the edge… you have to be in shape to and you need to know what to look for on take-downs. IF it turns out Mike Tyson trains MMA then, as far as I am concerned, its a conversation worth having, but if you have ever watched a pure puncher in an MMA or any other type of No-Hold-Barred, it goes poorly for them. The fight goes to the ground 9 times out of 10.

TYSON v ALLEN

Tyson is one crazy mother, but I think Allen might just stick an arrow in him from a treestand and be done…..After following Allen for a while, he probably would put Tysons head on the wall to.
