Sad
Like was stated before, just as it seemed he was getting his life together. 26 is WAY to young to die…

Sad day indeed...
Us fans watch football on Sundays because A) We love this game; and B) it takes our minds off the daily M-F grind. It helps us forget the pains of life, but it’s sad when someone like that dies, in the fashion he did after all he went through. For once football makes us think of our own mortality. Life is fragile and short. RIP, man.

Correct me if I'm wrong...
but I’m pretty sure he was on the IR.

You're right.
He was out for the season with a broken forearm. I really wish that was all the Bengals had to worry about right now.

Blogged this earlier but wanted to share this advice
Really. You don’t know how deep this hit me. I spent some time looking at pictures of me with tubes all over. My wifes hand on my face and all I could think of was those poor kids of Chris’.
There are many days I wonder why I made it.
The dumb thing-I taught Dr. Ed
WEAR THAT SEATBELT!
Make sure the door is secure and lock it. Locking can prevent a door from popping open in a roll over.
Don’t let anyone ride in the backof a pickup for any reason.
Make sure you are alert. I had gotten up from an afternoon nap and was heading to a friends. Being even a little tired can slow your reaction time.
Of course, don’t drink and drive. I had quit a year earlier and thank God I did not cause another to get hurt. Had that happened and I had a speck of alcohol the 5 month hospital stay would have not been my only nightmare.
Best way to try and make sense of this tragedy. RIP CH
