1 3 3 1 (Favre Watch)
This is a little trivia everyone can enjoy. For those waiting in anticipation for the downfall of Brett Favre (the notorious late season collapse that makes him more of a liability than an asset) and the end of the Vikings championship dreams this fact will surely get your mouth salivating. Those of you who have wholy embraced Favre and have enjoyed cheering his historically dominate performances each week can appreciate this for what it is...old news.
1 3 3 1. Any guesses? 13-31? 13:31? Got it yet? This is Favres touchdown to interception ratio for December over the past four seasons.

I don't know
why he’d just magically start tossing INTs when all season he’s gone 24-3. This is a different Brett Favre. INTfest will not happen.

Different year, different team, different attitude, and one year older....
This is a new year – past is past…..many reasons for that December record, no need to discuss, has been as nauseum on other posts/prior here and elswhere…
This team is not the Jets, nor the Packers….much more talent surrounding him now even than some of the best GB years (know is debatable point, BUT I believe this to be true)…
Favre’s attitude has caught on with all team members….Has resulted in formation of a strong, tightly knit unit on both sides of the ball…they do not rattle easily from what I have seen to now….
With age comes wisdom (hopefully)….The talent that Favre has around him now meanshe does not NEED to take the risks (read slinging haphazardly and hoping for the best) that he may have felt he had to in the earlier years….
So therefore, taking all above into consideration, think he maintains his high completion percentage, low INT rate, and rises to become the obvious MVP….But in reality, this whole team/unit could be considered for that honor….
Have you seen/heard the latest on the Pro Bowl voting? Vikes have I think 11 (yes not a misprint, eleven) players leading cats and 7 (yep seven!) second place…..Holy Schmoley!
I would rather be IN the Arena than watching from the stands...That is my life!

Agreed
And even when Favre has (or so he claimed) just thrown it out there and prayed for the best, it just so happened that Percy Harvin or Sidney Rice or Shanko or Berrian was at the other end of the ball, and THEIR best has proved to be up to the challenge.
There is, of course, one other possibility for Favre’s success; Purple suits him much better than green :) .
Ah, ah,
We come from the land of the ice and snow,
From the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming!
SKOL!
I hate to say it
R4F, you’ve been right about most things this season, though you may have put them in exceedingly BRIGHT terms. Let’s hope you continue to speak truth, young man.

He says his right arm feels great
No torn biceps tendon. No meaningless games in sub-zero weather with gale force winds, no Cotchery ancd Coles as 1/2 receivers…
Its the system
Brett came to the Vikes because he knew the offensive coordinators system. He knew that with the offensive weapons available in Green Bay he can run the system with fewer errors than in the past. His success this year has a lot to do with the fact that these receivers can catch that fiery fast ball he throws. He trusts them and he trusts the defense to get him the ball back if he takes a sack.
Isn’t life great.
i know what that means!
It’s the binomial distribution of a term cubed!
……. wait, that’s the wrong answer?
