Like I have no reason for my remarks. Are you even effing watching this craptacular game? And you think this is the team that has a chance at a Super Bowl? Losing to a 5-8 team with second stringers? No offense. No O-line? Peterson has been useless for weeks (even last week he barely got it done). Time to trade his underachieving ass for a younger QB (thanks Favre for the 11 wins but it’s clear that we’re not going to go anywhere in the playoffs this year).

The Defense
is playing their typical good defense. 12 points through 3 quarters is more than good enough to ask for. The Offense is atrocious, seriously, I’m gonna kill someone right now. I’m getting the feeling that the Panthers defense knows our exact move every single effing play! They’ve got every play figured out. oh, and PLEASE DOUBLE TEAM FUCKING JULIUS PEPPERS ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME???

The problem with the Vikings right now:
Line play. When a football team struggles, it’s amost always because the offensive and defensive lines are struggling. That’s the case with the Vikings right now, the D-Line has been average and the O-Line has been just awful lately.

Secondary is dreadful. We have the worst one out of all the 10+ victory teams. No doubt about it. Yet the eternal optimists around here want us to believe that somehow, with this awful Secondary, we’ll be able to beat the Saints and the Colts? LOLOL!!!!!!
So let me just get this straight
Just to make sure, let me reiterate what we’ve just learned from the couple previous posts. The oline is terrible, dline is blah, Winfield gets burned to often, and we also have one of the worst secondaries in the league. When adding this to a weakened LB core, impatient RB, melting QB, and confused coaching staff, I can really start to see some reason for optimism.

This Sucks
I have said it before. The O line is over rated. McKinny outright sucked. He’s a rookie and rookie OTs don’t get it in the first year or 2.
Why didn’t we go out and get help at LB when EJ went down.
Why weren’t we double teaming Peppers when he started being an issue?
These guys better stop playing down to teams and get some consistancy?
PLAYOFFS!?! One and out if these guys don’t get someone to open their mouth and pump up that looker room. Sure ain’t our coaches.

Things look very dark right now
Unless something change in the next two weeks, this season will threaten to just fizzle out, like a wet stick of dynamite. Everything seems to be moribund: pass offense, run offense, pass defense, run defense, kick returns. Well OK, maybe kick coverage had no issues.
I may have to just stay away all week, this week. Just get away, then come back next Monday and be fresh & wiulling to have my faith restored.
I'm really glad that Christmas is this week

I really wanted
to fo down to Miami this year. Even if I couldn’t get in the game. I am getting old and if Jerry Jones has his way the football will go the way of MLB and NBA where only the fat cats get the big players. All the more reason we need a new stadium.

I really think he is the best pro prospect and he may drop into the late 2nd Why??? Cuase teams want prototypes, not leaders and gunslingers. But wait. Favre, Rothy-not exactly prototypes

The knock on McCoy
is that he doesn’t really have great arm strength. His mobility and accuracy are nice, but he’d have to sit for a year or two to be ready because of the fact that Texas doesn’t run a lot of plays from under center.

he’s like 6-6 has a cannon arm. he’s a perfect pocket passer who just has the athletic ability to throw on the run.

Bu the is not the lean, light toed guy I am describing. They look at guys lke David Carr, Ales Smith, Brady Quinn, Sam Bradford, etc. These guys have to learn to take the pro level beating and some of them mentally can’t adjust. Or, are not gien the time. Look at how Alex is doing now. OK bu tit took a long time. Carr never adjusted, Quinn is in the same catagory. I’m afraid Sanchez will be another. A guy with some free-wheeling background is usually the one that makes it-thus, a Rothlesburger

was sketchy on both sides of the ball
defense-
moore is obviously a terrible qb, and steve smith is obviously a great wr. so why wasnt he doubled 100 percent of the game. we are getting shredded for 299 yards (TO MATT MOORE), i didnt see any benny sapp (unless he is no longer our nickel back) so no nickel coverage.
offense-
has bevell ever heard of a screen? HB and/or WR? or maybe a draw, to get in behind peppers. three step drop? anyone? you can blame the o line all you want, but if they are being overwhelmed. and obviously they were. you need to get the ball out of the qb’s hands as fast as possible.
i mean, thats football 101.
and wtf happened to the deep ball to berrian? i mean. i realize favre has a crush on sidney but seriously. we need to take advantage of the burner someday
