We're not finished!
Dear Santa, Why?!... Ugh. Last night was the Cardinals game in repeat. It hurt. I'm not gonna lie. Anger, disapointment, and a flash of (its over) hit me. But I stay strong because of one reason...
We're still the #2 team in the NFC. That means we still have a first round bye... for now. If the "Hot 'n' Cold" Vikes can manage to pull out a big game monday night and lock up the 2 seed, we'll have our somewhat, well deserved bye. This gives me hope. Lots and lots of hope.
We have yet to lose at home this year. Doesn't mean we can't lose, but we haven't. Winning our division already means a home playoff game. We need that bye. We do not want an extra playoff game, playing in Philly or someother horrible outdoors stadium.
I strongly believe that if we're the team 'we thought we were' lol we'll turn it up on MNF and beat the ugly Bears. We need to get back to that 6-0 team. We need that bye. We need to hand it to some team like Dallas, or Philly in the playoffs at home. This will induce a sense of hope going into the NFC championship game.
This is still our year guys. We can't lose faith. It's the NFL, and we're bound to lose games, including the ones we really, really, really don't want to lose. :(
So join me. Rekindle your faith. Have hope as we lock up that 2 seed. Then we can all be gleeful as we say "We are the NFC North division champion Vikings, with a first round bye. Life is sweet!"

If this turns into week 17 us praying that the Eagles lose so we get the #2 seed... I'll flip.
We control our destiny. For now.
...add #4 to the mix and see what you get... Championship.
So just more rambling on my part...
The Eagles already lost to the Cowgirls. If the Eagles lose to the Boys’ again and they both go (11-5) Dallas gets that 3 seed. Depending on what the Pack does (9-5) the Eagles look at the 5th or 6th. What if Arizona also goes 11-5???!!! Dallas would be 11-5, Cards 11-5, and division records would both be 4-2! Who gets the #3 and who gets the #4?!?!

OK lol
On yahoo sports, I found a playoff scenerio, where you decide who wins on week 16 and 17. I put the Cards at 11-5, and Dallas 11-5 (beating the Eagles) and the Cards would get the 3 seed. Don’t know why, but they would lol

I see Vikes winning both games
Bears are just a bad team and Vikes will be out to redeem themselves.
Vikes have done really well against the Giants in the past, even when the Giants were the better team. I don’t understand why, but the Viking always seem to play really well in New York.
I’d say the Eagles have a 50/50 shot of winning out.
game against the Giamts is actually at MOA field at HHH Dome. Lol

Cranial Flatulance
Yeah it’s at the HHH Metrodome. Still think we play the G-Men really well.
Need it
The Vikes need that bye and a home game. They also need to go into chicago and RUN the ball all over a terrible defense.
Where has the vikings run game gone? Does the loss of Matt Birk hurt that much?? They were running effectively on 8 man fronts all last season so I dont want to hear the excuses.
I honestly think so...
Sullivan needs to progress. He’s as good as brinkley fillin in for Ej in my mind. Loadholt doesnt use this aggresive size enough. On like our 1st play a CB blew Loadholt up. Rewatch the game, it was turibble! Hutch is losing it too! We pulled him on a counter, and he missed 2 panthers. Didn’t pick one up… we all saw mckinney get raped last night… ugh. Out O-line needs to get it together RIGHT NOW!

I don't get it
I played right tackle on my varsity team and once in a while if you let your guard down someone would take it to you. I had enough pride to handle my business and stick it back to them in a slugfest every play if needed. Where is that sense of pride that a 11-3 team should have? NONE!

Same thing will Jonathan Stewart to AP...
J. Stewart was a mad man last night. Breaking tackles, running wild… Kinda how AP use to run. Now AP gets touched and he’s down right around that spot. (His only TD last night was his AP run of the night)… thanks ap.
