MNF @ Soldier Field

Wow I am stunned by what happened last night...but I am going to pull a page from the overused cliché handbook and exercise my extreme short term memory.

Just curious...are there a lot of Vikes fans headed to Soldier field for the bigger than it should be show down with our NFC North rivals? I am flying up on Saturday from Houston.

Please feel free to let me know or share past experiences from Soldier Field.

SKOL VIKES!

good luck to those who are

Soldier Field is one of the worst places when it comes to opposing fans… especially Vikes and Packers fans. Perhaps Jay Diabetes’ 60 interceptions and their stellar record will keep them slightly in check though.

If you can't laugh at yourself... Who can you laugh at?
The Packers, that’s who.

Philly

It is better than Philly…I saw a video from the past weekend of two 49ers fans getting pelted with HUNDREDS of snowballs from Phily fans LMAO.

hopefully playing in the freezing cold in the grass on a nighttime game is bad for us this time…because the last two times wevr gottrn beat by one average team and one well below average just like the bears..

Not to mention

the Carolina winter bothered us. A note I took from a kid here in FL who is a Vikes fan.
Have fun, Prepare to freeze your "boy’s " off.
Never been there bu thad Bears friends and they get nasty with me when we watch games. Keep talking the Packers down and ya might get along. Seems to be the one thing we agree on.
Seriously. Have a safe trip and Merry Christmas

And whatever you do

Don’t accept a beer from a Bears fan. A Steelers fan found that out the hard way this season and last I heard, probably will be permanently blind. His drink got spiked.

"If you're gonna shoot, shoot, don't talk."
"You men are only risking your lives, while I am risking an almost-certain Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor!"
"We have clearance Clarence. Roger Rodger, what's our vector Victor?"

If you get cornered by Bears fans

and they look mad, try calling out, “Packers suck!” It might help.

On the train ride into the stadium...

a few years ago for a MNF game against the Bears, a couple of Bears fans sat next to me and my brothers.

To lighten the mood and get a conversation started, I said to them after they sat down “Well at least we both have one thing in common. We both hate the Packers.” :-)

Tell them NY pizza puts that Chicago soupy slop to shame. At least that’ll take the focus off football!

brrrr

it’s going to be freezing. This game makes me nervous especially if Philly wins the day before. I always thought we would lose it as soon as the schedule came out. Hopefully we can run Adrian down there throats if Favre doesn’t change every play to a pass.

..we need to come up w/ a good insult regarding soldier field..

…if for no other reason than one time, right before a bears/vikes game at the metrodome, when asked what he thought about playing in the dome..ditka said “i feel like i should have brought my roller skates”.. funny, yes, but still burns deep inside…(and that was prob 20yrs ago?)

No need too anymore

What they did in “rebuilding” Soldier Field was an insult enough. That places looks more like a slapped together barnyard now then the Dome ever looked.

Haha

I read the article about the Steelers fan…I will be buying my own drinks.

I think our O Line is going to take exception to everybody dogging them this week and open some big holes for AD.
