260 less free agents available next year without a CBA

Pat Kirwin was just on the radio doing an interview and he stated that 200 free agents will not become free agents if a new CBA isn't signed by March. Another 90 players will be Restricted Free Agents ( instead of the standard 30) making the talent pool of experienced players 260 short of normal. My figures are rounded and could be off a tad. This puts a lot of pressure on the union to get a new deal done so the Free Agents can collect bigger paychecks.

Whew I'm glad our front office got Jared when they did. If few FA are available it makes the Vikes front office look like they know what their doing. Build from the draft and try to keep the cupboard full. How would you like to be the Bears or Carolina with no first rounder and few FAs available?
