(You might have rolled your eyes before clicking on this post).. But you still clicked on it! :) Yes, that's how big the NFL Draft has become... that some freaks now want to bring it up for discussion in December, amidst an 11-3 playoff-bound season, fraught with recent controversy, no less.
So anyway, about the Draft. My personal opinion as of today, is to go Dikta / Ricky Williams style and go all in for Suh this year!! It's unlikely as ever that it would happen (given our cap situation), but could be a great move. He's the perfect guy to phase into Pat's slot (and be mentored by), and eventually provide relief and allow space for a more senior Kevin Williams.
A quick poll for your Draft opinions:
(Responses to recent comments: Suh is purely wishful thinking. I think I fail to realize how costly a top 3 pick is in the NFL Draft. (in trade value) Hearing how deep the draft talent is this year makes me feel better. I am optimistic that a good player will last to us. I was hoping that Chester had one more year on his contract, and didn't know he was a FA after this season. As a college neophyte, I look forward to increasing draft coverage to better anticipate what talent may be available to us. Hopefully, we have an 'Aaron Rodgers' 2010 draft year.. ala the lucky Packers, where a top-tier QB talent lasts late into the 1st Rd.)
