Lovie Smith is to Brett Favre as Adrian Peterson is to the Chicago Bears

The select few of Bear fans that find themseleves at my bar (every single one of them have the same "C" hat) to harass me about the vikes, which I proudly sport at work. Or anywhere for that matter. Initially before the 1st game played this season the professor whose so "witty" about his football and Chicago Bears told me that Lovie Smith has always had Favres number. Favre was 2-6 in his prior 8 meetings with the bears. Most of the losses were ugly, and some of his worst performances.

All I had to say to the old chap was "ADRIAN PETERSON!". We are talking about a running back (with the great efforts from the O-line) who has made the bears his Highlight Reel. In his 5 contests between Lovie and his Bears Peterson has been his worst nightmare running for 639 yards and 9 Rushing Td's. 127 yards a game and almost 2TD's/ game. Adrian Peterson totally negates any stir with Lovie Smith having psyche over Favre, or having a good game plan to stop him.

So If I was predicting this game, I'm banking on 2 TD's from Peterson, and 1 TD from Favre, and 1 TD from Jackson. What? ..You don't think he'll pull him out up 3 scores??

I just don't see Favre throwing more then 25 attempts and us running for less the 40 (it doesn't have to all be Adrian Peterson) and I'm going to say you can plug in some field goals and we're putting up 30+. I feel bad for Lovie Smith, because his squad hasn't put up 30 points in 7 games and has only done it twice this year. Althugh part of my prediction is from the past to the present, and shouldn't have any recollection on this game. But your wrong. Because the Bears defense had Urlacher in the middle while they got torched. He is no longer there, and i'm going to go out and just say they're worst then the defenses Peterson has faced in the past.

34-13 Victory!
