Vikings/Bears Fourth Quarter Thread
Yeah, I think we're going to need a separate thread for the last quarter.
The Bears still lead by 10, but the Vikings have just intercepted Jay Cutler and are in Bear territory with 2nd and 5 from the Chicago 48.
Let's do this thing!

This isn't "The Daily Norsewoman.
"What is best in life?"
"To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women."
Now that's a great catch
I think they’re starting to believe. I hope we can pull this off – our Vikes will learn a lot about themselves if they can somehow turn it around like this. We gotta get this night-game, grass field monkey off our backs. Geez.
Need to get this TD pretty quickly
then stuff ‘em and take the lead and shut them out the rest of the way. I’d LOVE to see us sweep our entire division (who wouldn’t, of course)…I’ve never seen it happen.
keep watching... KEEP CHEERING!!

If you math it out though...
you figure if we take 3-4 minutes to get a TD here, that leaves them 6 minutes. They waste another 2-3 minutes getting stuff by us (hopefully). Leaves us 3 minutes to try and win. Hope it all times out right. Sometimes it all just comes down to the rhythm and timing of how the scoring happens. Ugh. Too nervous.
Is that...fledgling optimism from you, Wyte?
You’re progressing! :)

so yeah, 1 and out is looking highly likely
A Complete Effort
Everyone—special teams, offense, defense, coaches—contributed thier share to tonight’s loss.
Prior to his season-killing fumble, Peterson was one of the few Vikings (Chester Taylor, Rice, and Favre could say that too) who could claim they pulled their weight tonight.
So of course it was AD who killed the Vikings.

as usual the vikes get jobbed!!!!
AP catches the dump off pass in OT
Like always, instead of trotting out of bounds for a 10-15 yd gain……he pushes on for a couple extra and fumbles. I love his intensity, but he needs to go out of bounds!! Same thing earlier inthe game when he got whacked on the sideline. To have a long career as a RB, you gotta limit the shots you take. Emmitt was smart and ran those out of bounds. There’s always the next play.
been a viking fan since 1966
i will always back them no matter how bad they play. i have seen more disappointment from them then most of you and still i stand by them . for the ones who are talking bad about AP shame on you. and for others who just complain about this and that wytefang im talking to you why be a fan of a team if all you do is complain have you ever played the game i think not if you had you would understand how hard it is to play to and block somebody to tackle its not like the other team is letting you do it . also look at the saints they just lost at home to the bucs lost 2 in a row at home every team has there ups and downs people believe me . i read some here saying im going to cry im so sad what are you people 10yrs old my god man its a game. i played this game for years its hard and its brutal on your body and more importantly on your mind . but for fans its only a game of fun and yes disappointment but not serious enough to cry about or to complain about . i want to ask the people here how many wish that the vikings did not draft AP ? I FOR ONE WAS SO HAPPY WHEN THEY DID. i watch him in collage his freshmen year and even then i was hoping the vikes would some how draft him . yeah he fumble tonite and if he was my team mate i tell him don’t worry about it lets get them next week . im sorry i ramble on here but to all the true viking fans i say this be proud and stand behind them when things are bad thats a true fan. anybody can rout for a team thats winning but when its not thats where we fine out who the true fans are take care all.
