The difference is SIMPLE....or is It?

WHat is the difference between the Vikings of say.............The 49'ers game....Ravens game........the Bears game of last night?

It could be the difference of a last minute heap, or a missed field goal? I may not be stating anything but the obvious, but i am trying to better understand my feelings after a very disappointing loss to a 'on paper" inferior team.

On paper we should have beat them 40-0....The bears have not scored in the past 6 4th quaters alone.  Their only TD las week was on a Bennet Return for a score....I am so bummed, like my wife just let me....Ok not quite that bad, but with all the hype of this team....You cannot fault me for getting a little Fired up...All the comparisons to the '98 team....I blame the media...After 98' I was content on not being the psycho Purple fan, that had a 2 day hangover from a viking loss...I let it go if you will.........but now, I really look at this team, and realize, that with the exception of ...lets face it, a lucky win in San Francisco, and Ravens, we would be a 11-5 or 10-6 team....Which isnt horrible, but how can you compare this team to the 98' team....I will cheer them on and on and on...I will cheer for them even more now, because they need it! I will not say negative things, because lets face it, maybe they are not that good, and we all got caught up in the Hype of Brett Favre and Co.........we should be very happy that we are in the post and have a chance to move forward......it may be more enjoyable if we eliminate the mindset that we are even close to the caliber of the 98' team.....Just my thoughts, and maybe the reasoning behind alot of unnecessary madness to follow.....
