Yep, for us Viking fans, kickoff is still a little more than eight hours away, but the rest of the league will kick off the early games in about an hour or so.
In NFC North action, the Detroit Lions will travel to play the team that Minnesota will play host to next week, the Cincinnati Bengals, while the Chicago Bears will try to keep from embarrassing themselves any further this season when they host the St. Louis Rams. The Packers, who are currently leading the NFC wild-card chase, don't play until Monday night when they host the Baltimore Ravens.
The rest of the Week 13 schedule is as follows:

Odds are
he will play. He was limited in practice, but was in practice, so I see him starting. Depending on how he and Favre thinks he is will determine the passes he get’s. If Shank is up too full speed, should not see any different from what we’ve seen from Shank in the past. I’m sure he will be getting some passes early to gauge how well he does. After that, anyones guess. If you’re looking at fantasy value, may want to start a back-up if you got one just incase.

How many fantasy teams you have going? Me, I got 4, but one I am commish of. Thats the one I was describing. I started last year after seeing the premise in a baseball league. You franchise two players you get to keep, the rest are open to forced trade. Which means that if you are playing a team, you win, you can force a trade for one player on your team for the same position on his team.

Just switched over to the SD channels to see if any of the alternative CBS/FOX’s were showing this game. They’re not, and they look like crap!

this is ridiculous….that play was blown dead. I rewound and watched it again and while they were fighting for the ball it was bloqwn dead before any saint got a hold of it.

They've been putting up huge numbers
today they may have sucked and Washington totally choked. But they’ve been playing very well all season.

Yeah, they were great against the Pats, but after today, what does that really mean? The Pats are fading fast.
Before that, Brees was mediocre at best for about 3 weeks in a row. He got saved by Darren Sharper. They seriously do not impress me. If the Colts weren’t looking like the worst undefeated team of all time, the Saints would easily take the cake.

I will defer to you since I haven’t really watched them until today. But this will all be moot until the playoffs begin. In a recent article, members of the 1998 team were saying that this team is better than that squad that went 15-1. All that really matters is winning the big one, whether or not you beat the worst undefeated team of all time or not. I just warn against any hubris about how the Vikes are so much superior to this team or that, especially after 1998.
Someone's going to....

While I’m here – Now even kickers from other teams (Redskins) and zebras covering that game, are trying to keep our Vikes from enjoying the homefield advantage. That’s o.k. We’re going all the way! At least, I sure hope so. They’ve been breaking my heart since I got home from the land of bad things, in 1966.

Ok my understanding of this rule is a player is hit by opponent and knee/elbow etc. touches ground the player is down. Sellers was ruled down and a reply clearly showed his left forearm on the ground before the ball moved. Why upon review was this reversed other than to help the Saints win the game??? When is the NFL going to follow the NHL’s lead and have a “War room” review from the league offices so I don’t have to hear Mike Pereira on Official Review on the NFL network saying that they screwed up a call.
The War Room would concept has allowed the NHL to have the same group of league officials making the call which has led to far more consistency and the people who make the rules call them correctly as opposed to an on-site official’s interpretation of a rule.
