This article is pointless
There shouldn’t need to be a list of 11 reasons to beat the Bengals. It’s not like the players are sitting around going “Well, we could try hard and attempt to win this one, but I just don’t see enough reason for that. Lets mail it in until a better game comes along.”
personally
I like medicineball’s posts. It’s a fanpost, not the coach’s motivational speech, for crying out loud.
If you can't laugh at yourself... Who can you laugh at?
The Packers, that’s who.

Meant more to
Pump US up than the Vikes…obviously.

Barely.
I went back out last night.. Not getting smarter in my old age..
I will say this I’m a little disapointed in some of the fans here. I know it’s nice when your a winning juggernaut I mean hey it’s nice, but look we’re 10-2 that’s great beautiful awesome totally cool! Maybe they jumped on the band wagon when it was rolling down town who knows. All I know is maybe it’s not just the team that needs to practice.
For instance just yesterday there was a kid with downs syndrom walking his dog. I (being a good person and realizing I need to work on me being a better fan) jumped out my door and started yelling and cheering for him! Yeah he was excited! Then I realized Wow this isn’t even close to enough so I ran back in a got a glass of water. Running back out I threw it over his head in a much mocked down gatorade celebration! I then picked him up on my shoulders and carried him in circles for a while.
I will say this when I walked back inside I felt like I had excersized all of my fan muscles and it felt good! However, when the cops showed up and tazered me to the ground I realized there are maybe more acceptable ways of working out your fan muscles.
Agreed.
"You can't sit on a lead and run a few plays into the line and just kill the clock. You've got to throw the ball over the damn plate and give the other man his chance. That's why baseball is the greatest game of them all." -Earl Weaver
Hey it's all in fun.
Like we need a reason. Medicine Ball you could get a like more humor involved. Hey this site is here for us who have passion for our team. We pump each other up. We bitch & moan when things don’t go our way. We have some fun & we enjoy the comraderie. Of course the article is pointless. That’s the whole point. The 12th reason because purple & white is alot cooler than orange & black. Someone should tell those guys Halloween is over. P.S. on the More Stadium News Post. Support for Dick Day is needed. I’m going on record right now for support of big Titty Day also.
It's a theme
Like when I post a picture of scantily clad women every week. Sure it’s pointless, but it’s entertaining—just like the weekly posts from medicineball.

A few more notes on this game
Naufahu Tahi was with the Bengals at one time. He was in the Bengals training camp in 2006. The Bengals cut him. The Vikings signed him in November 2006. Then, after the 2008 season, the Bengals made an offer to Tahi, but the Vikings matched it. His cousin is a fullback with the Bengals.

Several months ago there was a great story by Sean Jensen in the Pioneer Press about Jasper Brinkley. From the article:
“He was scrambling, and I had secondary contain,” Brinkley said. “In my head I was thinking, ‘Come on. Come on.’ Once he crossed the line, I knew there was no turning back. And I brought the pain.”
Finally, when Chester Taylor was a Raven, he played the Bengals several times, though rarely as the featured running back. I added up his career stats against the Bengals.
Rushing: 52 attempts, 245 yards, 4.7 ypc, 2 TD
Receiving: 10 receptions, 60 yards
Mission accomplished
Vikings win, 30-10.
The return of Antoine Winfield and Anthony Herrera, and a re-commitment to the rushing attack with Adrian Peterson and Chester Taylor resulted in victory. Meanwhile, surprisingly good showings were made by defensive backups forced into starter roles: Jasper Brinkley and Jamarca Sanford.
Greg Lewis also played well filling in for Percy Harvin at the slot. Reynaud had a nice day handling the returns. Erin Henderson made a key fumble recovery and two special teams tackles. The list would go on for a long time. Suffice to say, it was a great team win.
