2009 NFL Schedule Release Show Open Thread
Yes, folks, we'll talk about everything relating to the release of the Vikings' schedule. . .and the schedules of every other team in the league. . .right here. We're about an hour and twenty minutes away from the show as it stands right now.
One thing we DO know is that the Week 2 Monday night tilt discussed in a previous post, should it involve Minnesota, will NOT involve the New York Football Giants, as they'll (EDIT: allegedly) be Minnesota's opponent in this year's season finale.
Have at it, folks!

Well it’s going to be at 7:00 my time, when I’ll be right smack dab in the middle of another riveting Geology class, so I will be much too preoccupied to waste time here.
…
I really don’t like that class.

Twins?
Aren’t the Twins playing in there own stadium this year! i doubt it will have an affect on the Viking schedule.
The Twins open their new stadium
next year in 2010 season.

Nope
That’s the 2010 season. They’re still at the good ol’ Dome through this fall.

Just curious
Where did you learn that we’ll play the G-Men on Week 17 yet again? I hadn’t heard that yet.

Nevermind
I saw Frost’s comment on your other post—the Giants’ schedule has already been leaked. I love the NFL; only they could make leaking schedules a big deal like it was some huge record release!

Well, apparently. . .
According to Access Vikings, there’s speculation that the Giants will be playing Week 17 at home. . .which would make it much tougher for them to play at the Dome, too.

Also, the Bears will host the Vikings on Monday Night Football, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Also, the Vikings won’t be hosting the Week 2 Monday Night game, so back-to-back roadies to start the season it shall be.

Do you believe in miracles.....YES!
I was hoping all summer long I could get to see not only a Vikings game, but in the short time allowed, a Twins game as well, And who would have thought, the last two regular season games in the Dome for the Twins, then monday, against the Pack! Yes, looking into tickets NOW!!!!!
"If you're gonna shoot, shoot, don't talk"
There's something coming up on the Vikings
Shortly on NFL Network’s show. Didn’t catch exactly what it was, but the glare of the camera lights on Brad Childress’ head damn near made me go blind.
