He’s probably right about a lot of that, but I wonder how his scouting reports and ranks compare to Kiper’s or NFLDraftScout.com’s or Scout.com’s 3-5 years after the fact. If his reports miss players that the others don’t, then of course he’ll say it’s just because the slab wasn’t carved yet. I would also take him more seriously if he claimed that he could never be right about recommending a guy to be picked in the 1st after the top 5.
