The Sunday Viking Vegur, Palm Sunday Edition

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, after spending yesterday afternoon volunteering at the Keesler Air Force Base air show, Larry the Cable Guy might be the only human being in America with a neck that's more red than mine currently is.  To borrow a line from Baz Luhrmann. . .

If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it. The long term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience.

Yeah. . .get THAT out of your heads, ladies and gentlemen.  And while you should feel free to use sunscreen, you should feel free to check out these links while you try to rid your mind of this song.

Star-divide

--Capital J's Corner discusses the potential Vikings' future of Antoine Winfield.

--Grant's Tomb is much more worried than I am about facing the Jay Cutler-led Chicago Bears.  Then again, everyone's more worried about it than I am, it seems.

--Pacifist Viking takes a look at the fantasy implications of the Cutler trade.  Here's my analysis. . .Cutler's value?  Down.  WAY down.

--The Purple Trojan talks about a scenario that many Viking fans are quite used to. . .rooting for the underdog.

--The Ragnarok ponders one of life's great mysteries. . .that being "why in the blue hell isn't Cris Carter in the Hall of Fame already?"

--Skol Vikes has ball.  Yes, singular.

--The Viking Age takes a look at how some recent news involving some top prospects might affect the Vikings' draft.

--Viking Nation has an idea of how he'd like to see the Vikings' draft progress as well.

--Viking Vigil has a pre-draft look at the NFC North Division.

--Vikings War Cry also has their own take on the Cutler deal and how it affects the balance of power in the division.

We're less than three weeks away from the draft, folks. . .it's approaching more and more rapidly.  Hopefully we all get what we want on draft day. . .players that will make this team even better and solidify our hold on this division.  That hold, by the way, hasn't loosened even a little bit, despite what you may have read elsewhere.

That's all for now, folks!  Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, and we'll see you back here tomorrow (unless something huge breaks first).
