PrintJust read two Vikings related stories over at profootballtalk.com that I thought some of you may be interested in.
First, "Defensive tackle Fred Evans, a restricted free agent tendered at the second-round level by the Vikings, has accepted the one-year, $1.545 million contract"
I believe this is a great signing. Especially with possible suspensions to the Williams'. Even if they don't get suspended I think its a good signing because from what I have seen of Evans he has potential to become a pretty damn good player. Time will tell.
Second, for those of you who still hate our QB situation and were hoping that Mr. Jeff Garcia could possibly still enter into the picture... It would appear that will not happen, for according to PFT.com, he is the newest member of the Oakland Raiders.

Oh well, there goes my hope for a decent QB this year.
When you go to somebody's house, you don't crap on their floor. Being a fan of one team does NOT give you license to be a dick to fans of another.

We already have the cream of the crop wearing the purple and gold, right? I mean, Sage is the second coming of Christ (I know I’m going to hell for that) and will, without a doubt, take us to be the big game this year and bring us our first Super Bowl win EVER!!!!

Housh: “Hey, Sage, I am really looking forward to having you throwing me the ball the way you did to Andre. I think we will do great….oh, this is Tarvaris? ………erm, yeah, about that…I think there has been a mistake here”
hangs up phone and turns back to Childress
“Hey Coach, thanks for the visit, but I need to get going. I’m expecting a call from Matt Hasselbeck.
There waiting for ME to come out of Retirement!!!
I was told today to wait by the phone for Mr. Childress to call…
No call yet, I guess I won’t be competing this season either.

maybe it was the Vikings “War Room”?

I’m Running, Lifting & hittin’ the Twin Cities Clubs with Prince!!
As far as WR help—-I could use that little speedster, Percy Harvin or that Michael Irvin clone, Hakeem Nicks. Both extra weapons to go along with AP, BB and that little slot man—Bobby Wade…not to mention Mr. Taylor catchin’ the pigskin out of the backfield.
Wow, I can see the Super Bowl within reach and this time I have multiple weapons and a Defense equal to my Purple People Eaters!!!
Back in the day, I only had #44 Chuck, John Gilliam and Pretty Boy Bobby Moore… oh I’m sorry he has a new name—Ahmad Rashad.
Please…all my fellow Viking Men, contact Mr. Childress and let him now I’m still waiting by the phone.
I’m getting a complex—-I smell a Norm Van Brocklin!!!!
