I found this humorous
Apparently it isn't just rival fans who realize how poor the WR corps is over at Chicago.
Orlando Pace is apparently campaigning Torry Holt to join his new team. But who cares what a LT thinks about the WRs, right?
What about Cutler? Is he happy with who he'll be throwing to in Chitown? Apparently not. http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/04/08/report-cutler-has-reached-out-to-burress/
As you can tell from the link itself, Cutler is trying to get Plaxico Burress to join his new team. I think that for the Bears new QB to be reaching out to a WR who may be getting suspended says quite a bit about how unsatisfied he is with his throwing weapons.

Holt
Id give him a go into camp with a WR battle to go along with our: QB, C, RT, and RE battle.
Little sarcasm in there! Im still excited for the draft, is it here already?!
Scary!
That is the first word that comes to mind, thinking about Cutler throwing to Buress. Much as we would like to talk smack about the opposition, that would be a very scary sight. Buress is a natural and gets down to business during the game. I really do not want to see him twice a year with a decent QB throwing to him.
I can’t see him going to Chicago. I mean, Lovie Smith released Tank Johnson for illegal gun possession. Why would he suddenly decide to take in a guy who shot himself with an illegal gun?
Because his job is on the line.
In AP I trust

So he’ll sign a WR who’s going to likely be suspended for several games this season? I just don’t see it happening, and Cutler needs to stop trying to play GM.
Let's not forget...
That suspension will be handed down AFTER Burress completes his Jail time.
Even though he won’t do the MANDATORY 2 1/2 year sentence, he still will likely spend at least 6 months in Jail over this.
Considering the speed of court proceedings in the NYC area, that might not be handed down until fall.
So you can expect Burress to be out the majority of the 2009 season.
How would you feel?
If you were a CHI WR? The guy comes in and campaigns for a PR nightmare to come in and knock you down the totem pole. HAHAHA Cutler should do great in Chicago…. Screwing up chemistry and making them the little Cowboys of 2009! There’s not enough talent there yet to call them the Cowboys of 2009, just little Cowboys.
