Childress: Vikings Will Discuss Possibility of Brett Favre!
From ESPN.com
The Minnesota Vikings haven't discussed the possibility of pursuing veteran quarterback Brett Favre. Yet.
Speaking on the first day of his team's rookie minicamp, coach Brad Childress said there hasn't been time to discuss the New York Jets' decision to release Favre. The move made Favre a free agent, raising speculation he was considering a return to the game despite releasing a statement in which he said his plans were to remain retired "at this time."
"We talk about everything," Childress said. "So yeah, I'm sure we'll talk about that."
God i'm getting giddy about the thoughts of Favre in purple.

He said that they will talk about hiim being released.
Not that they will talk about signing him. I won’t be surprised either way.

Childress
I don’t even want to like him. Coach will discuss Favre, decide that Jackson is still going to “keep learning” and stick with our 2, wait 3, mediocre quarterbacks for 2009. I love the Vikings, but we are going to waste AP if we don’t get a QB.

That’s exactly how I want this to end, with Favre nowhere near the Vikings.

It should end in Miami, Feb 7, 2010, in Victory!
I don’t care if the Vikings have to dig up my beloved passed away grandmother and get her to throw the ball; if it gets them to the Super Bowl and wins it, so be it. Grandma wouldn’t mind and I’d have double-bragging rights :)
She’d probably retire after that, though… especially having been brought down to Florida and all… can’t blame her.
