Vikes Geek has a very well-done take on how the words of Judge Magnuson today in court may bode very well for the Williams Wall. Highly recommended piece.

Nice article. I’m liking what I’m seeing. I’m liking this Magnuson guy more and more every day.

taking solace behind some insignificant words will not absolve the punishment that is to come.

Nah

Just someone pointing out that the league is obviously full of crap on this issue.

Not that it will matter. . .with or without the Williams Wall for four games, we’re still the best team in the North.

Please

feel free to come back when your team can score from the 1 yard-line. Go worry about your diabetic QB boozing it up instead, would you?

It doesn"t matter....

who are qb is because A.D. will run all over your defense like he always does!

oops..grammer not the best on that one.

by PurpleCrush on May 15, 2009 10:13 AM CDT up reply actions

Thanks...

for the link Frost, it’s always sweet to see our beloved vikes beat up on a division foe.

their best accomplishment all season long.

What team did ya'll beat again

Oh yeah that’s right. you barely beat a giants team that was resting their starters. What a way to win the north!

?

Yet you took 2nd place. That happens to be right below 1st place where you can kiss our division winning asses.

by Jepp The Viking on May 15, 2009 8:38 PM CDT up reply actions

And you couldn’t even beat the Texans, so I wouldn’t be talking.

my previous suspicions have been confirmed

ifuwanna, the “good guy” as GeauxBears annointed him to be, is, in fact, a 12 year old with a learning disability.

OK. I'm a 12 year old

so that makes you a hopeless loser latching on to the hopes that some sleazy state judge will keep your two best defensive players out of trouble for taking banned substances.

I find it HIGHLY ironic that a Chicago fan is talking about sleazy politicians.

Also rule breaking defensive tackles. Tank Johnson, anyone?

Taken Out of Context

“taking solace behind some insignificant words will not absolve the punishment that is to come”

The above quote must apply to Culter mumbling something incoherently, just before Jared sacks him for the third time in the game. I fail to see how it might relate to any legal case involving the poorly implemented administration of some football league’s steroids policy which only reads those words from the CBA that it might find convenient.

PS-

I’m sending Cutler a tray of sugar cookies. Watch out.

In return We’ll see if we can package the Vikes a real QB. Oh, wait. You all think Rosenfels is one. carry on then.

It'd be much appreciated

BTW could you tell AD to come home? I think he is still running all over Soldier Field. We need to start practice soon.

He's running all over soldier field

trying to recover he ball he keeps fumbling. It’s pretty humorous.

Wow, gotta love trolls…little kids like this are actually fun to point and laugh at!

Even with "all" those fumbles

Adrian Peterson’s career vs. the Chicago Bears

4 games
90 carries
554 yards (6.2 ypc)
8 touchdowns

And, most importantly. . .a record of 3 wins and 1 loss. Oh, and unlike the “superstar” (a hilarious assessment) that your team has at running back. . .if you give Adrian Peterson 4 shots from the 1-yard line, he’ll get the ball into the end zone.

The Chicago Bears are no longer owned by the McCaskey family. . .the Chicago Bears are owned by Adrian Peterson.

Hey guess what

AP will now be known as CHAD. Can’t Hold All Day.

if you give Adrian Peterson 4 shots from the 1-yard line, he’ll get the ball into the end zone.

Please. He’d cough the ball up on the first try.

by ifuwannacrownem on May 15, 2009 6:33 PM CDT up reply actions

Funny, but I don’t recall the Bears ever causing him to fumble. So we won’t have to worry about that against Chicago.

by Frost on May 15, 2009 10:36 PM CDT up reply actions

Dude, you sound EXACTLY like this Lions fan I know. All he does is talk crap about AP’s fumbling because he has nothing else that he can somewhat-reasonable talk about. Because his team is worse than ours.

And now you’re doing it too… because you have nothing else besides the Williams and our QBs to talk about… and your team is worse.

That is what you have come to. You’re on the same level as Lion’s fans.

/shakes head

How far you have fallen.

Against the Bears?

Really? A team that he averages 6+ yards/carry and about 135 yards/game against? Not to mention a team he’s never fumbled against?

Like anyone on your worthless, pathetic, overrated, over-the-hill defense can get a hand on him to make that happen. In 4 games, you’ve managed to hold him under 100 yards once. . .and he still put the ball in the end zone twice.

Oh, and if you look up the record for most rushing yards allowed in a game by a Bear defense ever. . .I’m pretty sure you’ll find that Adrian Peterson was responsible for it. Yeah, you guys did an outstanding job against him in that one, letting a rookie rip you up one side and down the other all afternoon.

I look forward to another couple of games of Peterson destroying Brian “Ladies Man” Urlacher, Tommie “If I Was In Minnesota I’d Be the #3 DT on the Depth Chart” Harris, and Charles “Should I Cover Bernard Berrian?” Tillman.

funny how a guy

can fumble all the time, virtually the biggest shot in the leg a football player can do, and STILL completely dominate the other team.

I suppose an old, EXTREMELY overrated defense will do that to you.
