Not so fast, Charlie Walters....

Here's Ed Werder's story: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4176703

Ed Werder seems to kind of disagree with the St. Paul Pioneer Press writer as to whether Favre actually has an appointment for surgery. Personally, I do not know who to believe at this point but I thought I'd put this up there for you all to see. This story does, however, reaffirm my preference of The Trib over the Pioneer Press.

This FanPost was created by a registered user of The Daily Norseman, and does not necessarily reflect the views of the staff of the site. However, since this is a community, that view is no less important.

From this day forth I will not believe or have any interest in Favre news until he either signs a contract or the season begins without him. This is ridiculous.

The moral of the story..

..is that Favre is coming back. He is trying to go with the non-surgery option (legal steroid shots and natural weight lifting that may bring the tendon back down). Unless something goes tragically wrong with his arm, he is coming back.

Hmmm… maybe that “something going wrong” could be arranged…

In AP I trust
Brett Favre should go die somwhere

Don’t say that on the internets! Cops might show up at your door. Didn’t you hear about that guy who threatened Ovechkin and got arrested?

Lol

It’s too late for Bzzz Bzzzt (the guy formerly known as FarvaForTheVikings). He will be going down for attempted “going wrong”edness-before-the-fact. That is in violation of Article 96, Football Code 23, Clause 4 (The Favre Clause).

Bubba, I want you to meet Bzzz Bzzzt, your new girlf….erm, cellmate.

Hey now...

Let’s not get carried away guys. I’m only joking. And I live in Michigan. And I have no interest in meeting Bubba.

Besides, I just said it could be arranged… not that I’d be the one arranging it… there are people you can pay to do that. :D

Not if I frame Favre for murder. Hm… (forming dastardly plot)

In AP I trust
Just say no to Favre.

don't believe the hype!

come on ace! you know you’re still going to read the favre news. it’s like slowing down to rubberneck the accident scene. you just can’t help yourself even though it makes you a little sick and nauseas.

Hope this means he’s staying retired.

What is funny

Is that not once has either the Vikes or Favre camp came out and said anything besides denial or no comment. We are all being taken on a ride that could very much be fantasy. I’d laugh my ass off If Brett was simply sitting at home and shrugging everytime ‘’breaking news’’ came out with a perplexed look in his real comfortable jeans.

i’d breath a big sigh of relief.

this is all a packer plot!
