POST A NON-FAVRE-RELATED NEW FANPOST!
About Percy Harvin. And his recovery from extreme dehydration. He's okay now guys, back to working out and all that. We'll get to hear about how he does in OTAs in a few weeks.

And before this sentence I only had 69 words, which is the same number as Allen's jersey.

Does it matter?
So, he’s back to working out, does it matter? He’s still a liability that isn’t worth any ‘on-field’ benefits he may bring. We’ve learned this lesson before-we need character on the team for sustained runs and multiple championships. Bad move drafting the ‘problem’. It will come to pass, almost always does.
Yuck
at the negativity. We understand what he might bring, but we have bought into him. So bitching about him now does no good. From his interviews and from what folks who have known him in college (both classmates and coaches), as well as his sideline cheering while injured, I tend to think he will be a perfect fit with us, without any off-field incidents. So…until he actually does something, I am behind him and expect great things from him within the next two years (much like AP).
How is he a liability? Because he’s at Stage 1 of the League’s substance abuse policy? As long as he doesn’t test positive during the pre-season, it won’t matter. We’ll get him all season long, and he’ll be able to show what he’s capable of at the NFL Level. I’m not ready to crown the guy RoY yet, but you have to admit that he does seem to have the ability to be.
Yeah, that bad apple WR
who was a me-first drug addict sure was an issue.
That would be Cris Carter, BTW.

Risk vs. Reward
Randy Moss was a huge liability when we drafted him. Look how he turned out. Amazing!
Percy Harvin may also be a huge liability, yet if he’s mentored right & his momma keeps him in line, why blame the Vikes for taking by far the most talented player left in the draft with their pick.
not that im disagreeing with you
but remember, Percy is “growing up” in a Goodell-ran NFL. It is much harder to slip up now then it was 10 years ago.
Just sayin’.
