While I will say that Favre was definately a great quaterback, key word was, the Vikings are making a huge mistake trying to sign him. I keep hearing about how Favre wants revenge on the Packers for how he was treated, how about how he treated the Packers, waiting every year, for his last 3 with the Packers, until after the draft to announce whether or not he was going to retire, basically holding them hostage in attempts to move forward. Favre got what he deserved from the Packers, the whining little girl.
The Vikings are in good shape at quarterback, given the defense and runningback situation. They don't need the Favre circus. Quarterback play didn't cost us the Eagles game, for those who seem to have slept through it. It wasn't the quarterbacks responsibility to tackle Brian Westbrook on that screenplay that went for a touchdown, and even Peyton Manning would throw an interception when hit when releasing the ball(remember we suck at right tackle). I've been a Vikings fan for over 35 years, but that status could get shaky if Childress brings Favre in.
