Favre was Booked for "Joe Buck Live" in April
Via Access Vikings, here's Joe Buck on tonight's Favre interview:
"I called him in early April and locked him in, way before the Minnesota stuff popped up...Now the timing makes him the most relevant guest we could have this side of [Iranian president Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad.’’
Uh oh -- if Brett is going to be making a big announcement tonight, that certainly wasn't his intent when he agreed to do the interview. Of course, he still might make an announcement, but I'm starting to smell trouble.

Apparently he was slated to just ask him questions about being a big celebrity in the small town of Green Bay. I think he’ll stick to the original questions. If he starts asking questions like “Are you going to unretire?” or something heavy like that, he’s gonna have trouble A) Getting Favre back on and B) Getting other guests.

Joe Buck isn’t going to ask him any hard questions. Its going to end up being a fluff piece with Joe all starry eyed over Farve. The toughest questions asked will be how high he cuts his grass and if he can regurgitate any or all of the already “reported” news about his “supposed” comeback. I have never been a fan of Joe Buck and I doubt this show will be anything more than his usual routine.

Joe Buck has a television show?!?!
I knew TV was getting worse, but this is ridiculous.
In AP I trust
Just say no to Favre.

The Dream Highlights Tonight on HBO
Joe Buck: “Brett, are you going to come out of retirement and join the Minnesota Vikings?”
(Favre stands up, turns around, and pretends to moon Joe Buck.)
Joe Buck: “Aw! That’s utterly disgusting and despicable!!”
(Somewhere in space, a transponder explodes on a communications satellite. HBO goes totally dark. The horror suddenly strikes you. You realize that you’ll now have to watch ESPN for their report about what has just happened.)
Farvegeddon – the nightmare continues…

Nothing says “successful comedy show” like “That is a disgusting act by Randy Moss!”
