GreenBay at Vikings Monday Night....

I purchased 2 tickets at top dollar for the Vikings Greenbay Monday night on October 5th. I thought i paid to much for them, Well with Brett Favre under center those tickets will priceless. 50ydline 1st row..

I will be driving from NY to Minneapolis On October 3rd. My girlfriend and myself come out there at least once a year for a game, but this time it will be extra special...

Just signed up for the Daily Norseman and i'm looking forward to reading the fan posts.

… the only person more lucky than you that day will be Brett Favre. Mainly for beating the piss out of the packers in the dome and not making this whole deal a ‘dumb thing’ for himself lol

I just hope the season ticket holders do not break down and decide to profit off the Packer fans by selling their tickets to them at the already skyrocketing prices. Ticket prices for that game are already selling at 150%-200% markups. And that is for the nosebleed seats and Favre hasn’t even been announced as the QB. I know as a season ticket holder, I’ll be there in all my purple glory.

I wish I could make it

but like you, I live a great distance from Minneapolis. Its about a 17 hour drive from Harrisonburg Virginia and the games I do get to attend have been special every time. I’m sure it will be even more exciting being Favre and the Vikings Vs. The packers and Ted Thompson. I still think that Peterson will be the one having the huge game against the packers, especially with their transition to a 3-4, and having Raji the rookie as their key to success in the middle (not an ideal situation) We will own the line of scrimmage because Favre will have to be respected, so the playing field will be more even.

19 Hour Drive

for me from Southside Virginia….Thank God for Sunday Ticket (to catch all the other season games besides the nationally televised ones)…I do agree with you on the rare games I get to see live, all of them were special and the Vikes won each time.

I purchasd the tickets from stub hub and i will not be happy until those tickets are in my hand. They will be shiped out around AUG 15.. I just hope i dont get stiffed…

You should be alright using Stub Hub.

I try to get to as many games as poosible, but living in Illinois makes it impossible to attend them all. When I can’t go to a game and have not sold my tickets to a friend, I always use Stub Hub. One thing I have never done though, and never will, is sell them for a profit. They always go for face value + the handling charge.

Season Tickets

This will be my 6th year with season tickets. Its a sweet experience. Being there when Peterson broke the single game rushing record. Heck even when Favre broke the TD record, it was kinda cool. The game I will always remember, my sons very first Vikings game, (Dallas 17 at Minnesota 35, 2004). The first TD kind of scared him as all these people lept to their feet screaming. By the fifth TD he was jumping up and down, High Fiving the people in front of us.

will be at school in Omaha, NE. my dream has always been to go to a mnf game against the pack. I’ve been to plenty of Vikes games but never one against the pack. but i will be able to go to the Ravens and Seahawks games!

Vikings Games

I wish i was there for Petersen breaking the single game rushing record, Tuff to get out there. Like before i live on Staten Island NY, so i have to pick my game or games i want to go to. If i lived in Minnesota, My God i would of had season tickets 20 years ago. I been going out to Minnesota since 1989 and witnesed many good games and also heartbreaks, like the Championship game in 98 against Atlanta.. I was miserable, did not go to work for a week!!! lol…..

I walked away from the NFL for a year after that, that was such a heartbreaker… still don’t like to think about it, but I still think that the dirty birds didn’t win that game; the Vikings lost it. As we’ve done too many times in the past. I think it’s time to put that habit to bed once and for all.

Best way to buy Tickets

Looking to go to this game. Would I be better off buying tickets off Stubhub now? Or should I wait until actual single game tickets go for sale. Another question of course is when do they go on sale? As of right now it just says that they will go on sale later this summer. I will also need to make sure I have a Peterson Jersey. Any good places to go for a good deal? Thanks.

Tickets

I purchased my tickets on stub hub in mid April for the Monday night game against GreenBay… 2 tickets cost me 500.00 each for the 50yd line 1st row behind the Vikings bench.. I f you want them now there gonna cost over 1500.00 EACH…….I thought i overpayed but looking back now, I got them for a steal….Good luck !!!!
