Wildcat with Jackson
So, lots to look forward to this year. With the eventual arrival of Favre, the question of Jackson as a starter is moot (barring injury to Favre). But, I wonder, nevertheless, whether he might not function in an untapped, creative dimension once our offense begins to employ the Wildcat/Loki scheme. With Favre as our quarterback, I wouldn't argue for bringing in TJack to execute the Wildcat. The risk/benefit equation is not in our favor. But, "if" he were the starter, I think it could be quite a threat to throw a couple of Wildcat plays into the mix with him lined up in the shotgun. Anthony21's most recent post about quarterback stat predictions, and the replies to it said nothing about the yardage on the ground TJack, Rosencopter, and Favre were expected to accumulate. I think that with the arrival of the Wildcat, it would only make us more unpredictable to have Jackson as a threat in that capacity.

The real question is, can Tjack catch the ball as well?
That would give an extra dynamic to the wildcat if he has the hands. With the Dolphins, opposing defenses could pretty much ignore Pennington out as a receiver, but that would be a hole new story with Jackson lined up outside.

I am truly offended
I replied to that post and had a TJack stat line that included rushes! Hahaha

I have been thining about this. This could really pose as a threat to the defense. One of the fastest QBs in the NFL at WR with Chester Taylor at QB. Yikes.
"He didn’t call me or anything. It was an accident, but a lot of people would have called to see how someone is doing after they got hit in the head. Especially if they had to go on the DL." — Morneau on pitcher Ron Villone after an April 2005 beaning.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Wild Weasel!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe Jimmy Kleinsasser could drop back, swing across the line, take some snaps on the run, and be a QB, while Favre could get out there as a WR and catch some passes so he knows what’s like to jump for the ball and get nailed before he hits the ground! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Jackson could be converted to a Safety and provide deep coverage on defence, and maybe EJ could swing to the offense as a running back! Kevin Williams would make an awesome FB conversion, can you imagine anyone trying to stop him?! Harvin, being the super-catalyst for all of this, could play any position on the team of course, and do it well!! Or they could do a line up with Rosenfels as the center, hiking the ball to 10 RBs, who then could lateral it back and forth between themselves as they shuffle downfield, never letting the other team even know where the ball is!!! The Vikings could call this new ‘flex-style’ the “Wild Weasel”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hrmmn, too much? Or should I have used all caps too?
Come on, people, enough with the stupid position changes. You want Rugby, there’s another league for that.
