You do relise that you are one of the biggest fools anyone has ever had the unpriveledge of having to read right? I just want to know why you think that #4 is the greatest thing since sliced bread? You do realize that Favre has only won 1 superbowl in his career don't you and only been to the big dance twice in his career, and in neither of those years was it due to his play, the year that he did get his ring it really had nothing to do with him it was Desmond Howard and a Great D-fence led by Reggie White that won the Superbowl and the very next year he was beat by the great John Elway and Terrel Davis. I just want to know why you are such an idiot to be all over his nutz? If you go by SB wins then you had better be all over Kurt Warners; Tom Brady's, Big Ben's, Terry Bradshaw's, Joe Montana's, Troy aikmen's,John Elway's nutz as well cause all of them have more rings than Farve. If you are that in love with him please write him and let him know that you are willing to have his next child that is if your overies are developed enough to have children. I have not ever been so ticked off by an ignorant fool in my life as I am with you for some reason and you have not even made 1 comment about me our my Lions. We have all gotten the picture: You WERE a packer fan and then you WERE a jets fan and now you ARE a viking's fan. The fact of the matter is is that Brett Favre is not all that great, he's been more durable than most QB's in the league and thats it PERIOD as you like to say! So let it go and start backing up your statements if you want to be name calling and all cause it's sad to have to read your beyond sad posts about Favre YOU are tarnishing his records more than he is by not retiring!

That Firefox has a built in spell-checker. You might want to use it before you call someone else “one of the biggest fools anyone has ever had the unpriveledge of having to read”. Also, here’s another nugget for the Detroit Public Schools, there’s this new craze called paragraphs. It’s used to separate thoughts.

That’s pretty funny coming from a Lion fan. It must be frustrating to know that’s he’s been punching you with his left hand all these years and he finally gets to throw a right handed punch this year.
It’s obvious that this guy is not serious and possibly not even for real. Do you yell at the TV as well? (oh wait, you’re a Lions fan, that’s not fair.) I mean movies in the theater?
If someone is going to come out and call someone a fool, they should make sure they sound somewhat intelligent. It kinda fits that a guy with spelling and grammatical mistakes would hold such an ignorant opinion about Favre. How do you argue with a guy who claims the only claim to fame Favre gets is that he didn’t get hurt?
Besides, I thought I was more funny than negative. Lions fans yelling at the TV? Come on man, that’s gold. About to finally get a right hook, that will be the magic.

uhh, that was intentional. Did you read the original post? He had two spelling mistakes as he called the guy a fool. I left them both in for effect. Jokes aren’t really as funny when you have to break them down, but oh well.
Keyboard needed
Unlike the little kid Revenge4favre I need a new Keyboard real bad, and I was never a fan of the english language, with that being said I was trying to get some response out of revenge other than “favre blah blah blah” and “fudge packer blah blah blah” for anyone of you viking fans that would welcome such a band wagon jumper like that into your fandom is pretty sad! I understan that he will be an upgrade at the QB position for your team, and since the vikes are like 0-4 all-time and have not been to the big dance in over 30 years I can understand wanting someone who has won at least once. And yes I know you are going to say “well at least we have been there 4 time’s unlike you lions”. I know the history, but that kid thinks that Favre is making you guys an automatic Superbow winner and that just isn’t the case, at best it makes your vikes the frontrunners in our division, thats all.

If Barry Sanders went to another team, would you be a fan?? For a Motor City Kitties fan to knock a stat king like BF and forget that the great Barry Sanders was 1-5 in the playoffs is a bit interesting. Granted, Barry retired early and never played for anyone else, which was sad because he had at least 3 more good years left in those legs, but the Lions broke his heart.
If Barry retired, decided to come back and the Lions then traded him instead of let him back in, and then Barry got a chance to win a ring with the Bears, who were a RB away from serious contention, would you fault him??
I know Barry didn’t do that, but part of me wishes he did…

But I would want Barry to get his ring period just because he was 1 of the baddest to play the game. I wouldn’t be selling every bit of Lions clothing I owned and I wouldn’t become a die-hard Bears fan in the process and start calling everyone that was still a Lions fan names. I would just be happy to see him making everyone in the league look foolish as they were trying to tackle him. And since you mentioned the great Barry Sanders have any of you guys seen his son’s high-light real from high-school yet? Jr. is going to be a spitting image of his old man.

….NO. How a person can hate another without actually knowing them is beyond me. Football is a game meant to be enjoyed and some just take it a little too seriously.
I would like a shot at this question
I’m a hardcore Vikings fan and my girlfriend is a Packers fan.
I’ll tell you about a lovely evening last summer. We were celebrating our 2 year anniversary and everything was going great. She didn’t want anything fancy so we went out to eat at the Pizza Hut. It was a happy event and we were both enjoying ourselves until we began talking about football. Everything went downhill from there. She called me an “ignorant asshole” and demanded that I take her home. That is it man. Don’t ever date a Packers fan. I hated her passionately for a few minutes. It happens between Vikings and Packers fans.
That being said never talk about football or politics with your loved ones
The way things are going it might look like that...
but I decided that if we were going to have kids then they will Vikings fans. There is no way in hell I will ever let my children grow up liking the Packers

Trust me, I’ve mixed words with a few people on here, but I have never so arrogant as to create a whole thread based on my distaste for an individual. I honestly don’t think that you can private message, now that I think about it. But, that doesn’t matter. There is no need for your useless rant in the fanpost section.
One thing I can help you with, though, is your inability to form proper sentences and spell. You should really start using either Google Chrome of Firefox because they have spell-checkers built in. As far as sentence structure goes, read over your messages before you post them. Think to yourself while reviewing this “rough draft”, will what I have typed here make sense to people other than myself.
As far as hating Packer fans (no idea why you asked me), I only hate those that hate me. I have friends and family that are fans of rival teams. People that instantly hate fans of rival teams are probably the same people that instantly hated ALL Muslims after 9/11. It’s just ignorance and it’s part of life.

Who is the wiser?
I have noticed a few users have become quite childish of late in regards to the substance of posts. I understand this is a blog and not the New England Journal of Medicine, but come on people have some pride. REVENGE is what we call a troll, he likes to spout off asinine comments for the sole purpose of getting a rise. I don’t find anything wrong with that, in fact I find it quite funny when people try to engage him in debate. It is a kin to setting one’s hand on a red hot heating element after being told not to. REVENGE and others like him will do their thing regardless of what ANYONE says because that is what gets their rocks off. Go ahead man, get buck wild with it. I don’t care. On the contrary, people calling him out need to realize you are only adding fuel to the fire.

Is SB*Nation an un-moderated forum?
Because either that’s the case, or it’s just policy here that anything goes, or no one cares enough to do the job.
Just reading through the posts the last few weeks, it’s obvious that the noise level is going up quite a bit and nothing is done about it.

SBN provides different levels of membership, one of which is moderator. It is at the discretion of the head blogger whether he or she denotes someone as a moderator (just like authors). Some sites, the head blogger takes on the duty by themselves, and other sites it is delegated to another member.
Keep in mind though, you can always “flag” a comment or FanPost that you think needs to be brought to attention to the mods. Simply click the “actions” link, then click “flag”. You can flag the comment as spam, inappropriate, trolling, etc.
All flagged comments and posts are brought to the attention of the moderator(s).

After seeing this, I spent some time exploring my dashboard — didn’t see anything related to moderating fanposts or members. I’d say flagging something is probably your best bet to, as GeauxBears said, bring it to Gonzo’s attention.
A moderator or two couldn't hurt.
Just to keep the posts a bit cleaner, anyway. Like REVENGE4FAVRE’s copy/paste splurge on another thread.

And exactly the reason I came here to DN. Idiots who come on a blog to insult and fight annoy me. I have agreed and disagreed in cival discussions. By the way, have learned a lot from my fellow bloggers by just agreeing to disagree.
Lately some of this crap has been popping up more and more. Get on the “Fan Wagon”, discuss with some civility, tease each other if you must but in good humor.
