Report: Favre Underwent Surgery in May
Brett Favre's determination to play quarterback this season for the Minnesota Vikings prompted him to undergo arthroscopic surgery to repair his injured passing shoulder recently, according to two sources. However, Favre remains unable to make a commitment because subsequent throwing sessions indicate the shoulder is not yet 100 percent.

I am going to buy a number 4 Favre Jersey. Then I will spread it out on the floor, drop my pants, and take a dump on it.

OK
Butt, he is only a fraggin kicker. So who cares. LOL We are in agreement. I will accept that. Sharpwr was good, but if you notice he is not here. He cares for Sharper, nothing else. Fran said it right.

wow, you don’t have a clue. either that or you’re a really smart 6 yr old.

Ummm...
Don’t discredit Longwell. If you don’t care about kickers, I’m going to send you back mentally to the horrors of the 1998 season. Think about that for a moment.
And seriously? You think Darren Sharper is selfish and that’s why he is no longer a Viking? Please exemplify with even one piece of evidence. What I heard was he signed with the Saints, due to lowering productivity and lack of interest from the Vikings. But, I could be wrong…
Purple is the new black.

you’re right about Sharper. His first choice was to remain a Viking.

Mike McCarthy just pissed his pants. Thompson dropped a deuce in his. A healthy Favre on the Vikings is gonna be unstoppable. AD is gonna shred it up.

If Favre signs with the Vikings, the Packers or Bears will be NFCN Champions in 2009

Star Trib’s latest opinion poll on Favre, 63% for, 37% against.
by newmexvike on Jun 8, 2009 10:47 AM CDT up reply actions 0 recs
I’ll bet half of the 37% were Packer fans.

Here is to Farve retearing his arm trying to get ready!
I still can not believe how many people want this cancer of a person on the team even tho in the great scheme of things it will be nothing but bad.
Ohh and to those people who are thinking he will win us a superbowl you are wrong, it will be written as Brett Farve won his second super bowl at the age of 40 while haveing a perfect streak of games started paying through pain and hardship. Then as a super small cliff note at the bottom of the page it will state in the smallest print possible that it was for the vikings or if your watching it on tv you will only see him wearing a viking uniform but no mention of the rest of the team. Then to complete your misery people will reply to you saying the Vikes won the superbowl with yeah Brett Farve is great.
Is selling your soul worth winning it all?
My friends who are fans of other teams are already excited and think it will be raining interceptions for Packers and Bears when they face the Vikes.

Not necessarily. We’re a running team. We pound the rock. Peterson runs over both those defenses. Favre’s not going to be throwing the ball too often I don’t think.
by Frost on Jun 8, 2009 12:15 PM CDT up reply actions 0 recs
I hope not. I just don’t believe that Favre will settle for being second fiddle to Peterson.
That’s honestly what it comes down to. Will he be fine with being on a run-first team, or will he ask for/demand more passing plays? Will he play it safe, or will he go for the home run? Can he hit the home run consistently?
Too many questions.

Just say no to Favre.
