ESPN reports Vikings spend pursuit of Brett Favre

ESPN just broke in on their evening Sportscenter to report that Vikings officials have informed Bus Cook and the Favre camp that they will no longer be pursuing Brett to be their QB for the up coming season. This was reported by Ed Werder. He stated the Chilly had told Brett he needed to be at one of the OTAs and since that has past, they will be moving forward with out him. Werder did find it necessary to say that Favre signing with the Vikings could still happen, and as we have seen with news on this subject, this maybe completely wrong.

I agree he needs to lose his job.

But to think this report is accurate is just plain silly. This is the same kind of game that is always played, conflicting reports to try to confuse the masses.

Nothing has changed today in the Favre saga, except that people think it has changed.
