Yesterday ESPN sources said the deadline was this week, today they say the deadline has expired, but it really isn’t a deadline and no timetable has been set for either side to reconsider. WTF does that mean? Answer: ESPN’s sources don’t know Jack! or I mean Brett!

There is no truth to the rumor that Brad Childress or Brett Favre have informed ESPN of anything.
Since Brett is not under contract with the Vikings, and Brett has not committed to being a Viking, ESPN does not have much to report, but they have whipped up a tide of curiousity on a topic that they can’t satisfy.
Rather than announce that they do not know what the heck is going on in response to their viewer demand, they have elected to announce that something is over which has not begun.
It ain’t over till it’s over.
This is like deja vu all over again.

Seriously,
people need to NOT listen to ESPN anymore on this issue of Favre! ESPN has blown to many calls on this and they are doing nothing but trying to stir up “talk” while we’re in the slow time of the year for the NFL.
This isn't childress being a dumbass
… it’s Ed Werder of BS PN
Chilly handled this pretty well, actually. No matter how hard BSPN tries to complicate things with false reports and lies.
lol Wow. Childress should lost his job over Favre’s indecision? Don’t think so. That’s dumb.
Anyways, I recently read a report, FROM CHILDRESS HIMSELF, and not some bullshit ESPN “source”, who said that there is no deadline for Favre. But he wouldn’t say if the team was interested or not. Maybe they really have moved on. Possibly because, I like to think/hope, Tavaris and Rosenfels are showing good things in OTAs.
