Enough for Me for This Evening, Folks
Barring any craziness from Hattiesburg this evening or an even greater increase in the troll activity we've seen here this afternoon/evening, I think I've had all the fun I can stand for now. (-:
We'll have plenty more on this tomorrow, after things have had a bit more time to sink in. For now, I think NCAA '10 is calling my name.
Until then, remember. . .the Vikings are the best team in the NFC North, and your team isn't.

Can you please leave now, R4F?
"He didn’t call me or anything. It was an accident, but a lot of people would have called to see how someone is doing after they got hit in the head. Especially if they had to go on the DL." — Morneau on pitcher Ron Villone after an April 2005 beaning.
WOW!!!

you forgot to stick out your tongue and go NAAAH!!!
Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear.
Why would I do that?
I’m not some whining, crybaby idiot like Jay Cutler or something. I’m simply stating the facts.

Wow.
I actually like coming over to the DN and having intelligent conversations with some of the fans here. I don’t mind admitting that with or without Favre, the Vikings will be a tough team to beat in 2009. I will also send praise when it is deserved logically debate when called for.

However, you (the moderator, if I’m not mistaken) really make me question how “factual” your comments can be with childish replies like this.

Wow.
This is football! If you want to have civil conversations, go have a tea party with some brits
One of the reasons people love football is to pump up your own team and jar others…stop taking things so personally and have some more fun with it.

Is this what you'd rather see?
The Bears effing rock! Fuck yeah, ViQueens suck. Bears #1! Woohhooooo.
Personally, if I wanted thread after thread of that I would just blog on ESPN, Yahoo or FanNation, where I don’t have to agree to the standard set of rules that SBNation blogs (and your moderator) make us agree to when signing up. I actually think there are quite a few of your fellow Vikings fans that would agree.
On a side note, I used to frequent FN, is this the same Loki?

getting upset because somebody said their own team would win the NFC North and all other teams wouldn’t is sad whether that person is a moderator or not…who cares…get over it…if you don’t like it, then stay on your own board

Nah, you’re cool. I’m all down for jarring back and forth. My issue was with the childish comment from the mod, that’s all.
Peace, Love and Taco Grease.

Haha Loki
The thing is Gonzo is not “having fun with it” when he talks to opposing fans. It’s like talking to a brick wall. Anything he disagrees with is automatically wrong, and everything he thinks is automatically right. I also love coming on here and talking with Vikes fans, because most of you guys are realistic, and prove your points in a logical fashion. He is probably just one of those people whose personality is just being an asshole. I have a friend like this, and the only way anyone can have a conversation with him is if your on his good side. Unfortunately for myself and Bears fans we are already on his bad side just for the simple fact that we like the teams we do.
With that being said I really could care less about him being an asshole. I’m not over here to make “life-long friends”, I’m over here to talk football. Everybody has different opinions and personalities, and we all just have to accept that.

Gonzo's just worked up.
We all are, really. That old lawnmowing diva gave us the runaround for months (last year, too), and now we’re left holding the sack of stinky, wet poo that is apologizing to Jackson and Rosenfels.

Excessively Vivid Imagry. Really.
Ah, ah,
We come from the land of the ice and snow,
From the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming!
SKOL!
