Will it be this weekend?
Hello to all die hard Vikings fan.. I guess this is when the predictions start coming in of the official signing of Brett Favre... Like i replied to the norseman, i think it will be over this holiday weekend, when the media is at a low and that is what Favre wants..we will see.. I just really want to know who my QB will be this season already.
Anyway have a happy and safe 4th of July, I drove up to my house in Delhi, NY with the whole family and my beautiful girlfriend.. We will eat, a little time on the quad and maybe some target practice with the rifles, and just have a great time while standing by for any breaking news on Favre...ENJOY!!!

so let me make sure that I get your conspiracy theory right. Favre has not performed any action that would indicate that he wants to be the center of attention, yet he does. When has he ever done something to be the center of attention? By the time he gave those interviews last year stating his opinion, the media was in an absolute frenzy trying to get his point of view. Most of the time before that the media would speculate his opinion, usually missing the mark. In contrast to a real media whore like TO that takes interviews while lifting weights shirtless in his driveway or going on a reality show. That is a media whore.
Favre really doesn’t say much. I doubt he calls ESPN and NFLN and tells them he’s about to mow his lawn or take out the trash. His actual actions and statements have always been pretty consistent in that he generally does not like all the attention he gets every off-season. He can’t help it if they choose to cover him.
It seems to me that people such as yourself have formed this opinion by reading the speculation of beat writers trying to sell media. Like that dip on fox that writes “On the Mark”. That guy is an absolute pinhead who writes smack because he knows that’s the only way people will pay attention to his dribble. Do you think that moron has ever communicated directly with Favre with even so much as a text? No.
As much as I disliked the guy when he was a Packer, he never really did or said anything that I considered out of line. Had he, and I would have been the first to criticize. The only thing I can think of is when Hovan was talking all kinds of crap and Favre said, “Who’s Hovan”. And you know what, in the context of that whole deal, it really wasn’t all that inappropriate. Hovan was a little over the top while in Minnesota.
I’m going to suggest your basis of opinion is largely supported by things other people have said about Favre, rather than things he’s actually said or done.
I’ll gladly welcome in anyone who will make the Vikings better, even if it is Brett Favre
