Even though he never played for the Vikings, he has always been one my favorite players to watch. It’s sad he had to die so young.
RIP Steve McNair

he was also one of my favorite non-Vikings
Not only was the guy incredibly tough, but he was also always very humble.
V-I-K-I-N-G-S! Skol Vikings, Let's Go!!
RIP
I always thought this guy was an amazing QB. My prayers go out to him and his family
I just heard
My wife saw it flash across the screen. Steve was such a tough competitor. I heard one person say he broke the steriotype that a black QB could not play in the pocket. McNair not only could but he knew when to use his unique athletic ability to break from the pocket.
Just another sad story for the NFL and football fans all over. I am sure Titans fans are feeling ill over this senseless tradgedy.
I hope the person or persons are brought to justice fast.
SAD
He was one of my favorite QBs in the league. I like the way that he played the game. He was all about the team and not so much about himself..like certain other QBs we know that cannot stay retired. He will be dearly missed by all.
I went through
a life threatening injury. It was the prayers of many around the country that brought me from death 3 times, out of a coma and walking some when Drs. said I would never walk.
His children,, family and friends will feel those prayers and draw support from them. So I beg to disagree. It will do a lot of good.
He was a great player, role model and citizen. He will be very missed by myself and many other fans.
I really felt this guy was going to win a Super Bowl. Too bad injuries cut him short of that.
RIP Steve McNair.

My prayers go out to the families...
of both Steve McNair and the woman who shot to death today. Steve McNair will go down as one of the toughest QBs to play the game. He played through injuries and was a leader by example.
Sad
I couldn’t believe it when I heard it on tv today. I instantly thought back to that drive he led the Titans on in the SB, that was great. Prayers go out to the McNair family and friends.
