Vick to Eagles, Two-Year Deal
Well, there goes that rumor. Can't say I'm sorry to see it go.

Courtesy Mr. Mort, of ESPN: Vick agrees to two-year deal with Eagles.
Don't really know how Vick fits into Philly, besides as a publicity stunt or a Wildcat proponent. Should be interesting, to say the least. Why do we need 75 words per Fanpost? Should this have been a Fanshot?

Well at least I don't have to worry about the Vikings signing him, even though that would never happen.
Also, welcome back, Andrew!

Uh...
Where’d I go?

Why aren't you a writer for the DN anymore, old friend?
I enjoyed your contributions.

Thanks, but I have too many other ventures going right now to regularily contribute here.

Yeah he’s definitely just there for Wildcat. . . Of course, if I was Kevin Kolb I’d start worrying about my job security as well.
And to make the joke before anyone else, this means we’ll be trading for Kolb should Jackson get hurt :)
I don't think so.
Kevin Kolb’s career QB rating: 21.8

Right
but he’s an Eagles’ player and Chilly loves trading for them, only to cut them later on.
right again
so we may still get vick.

Don't see it happening
Vick in Philly isn’t a typical player pickup, it was a major collusion. Goodell picked Philly.

SKOL!
In 34 attempts.
Yeah, he’s doomed for the rest of his career.

Vick was a wanted man
They said there were a number of top teams that were very interested in him :) . Apparently Goodell and Dungy had something to say about where Vick ended up, if ESPN’s talking heads can be believed

Addendum
I was listening to the radio en-route to work yesterday, and heard the Washington Redskins owner bitching because he wasn’t able to get Vick for the Redskins.

This move, frankly, scares me. The Eagles ended last season very strong and proved that when they were motivated they were as dominant as any team in the NFC. They added power to their defense in the off-season, made a great move to pick up Maclin, and now bring on Vick. In my opinion, Vick is not ready to take command of an NFL contender, but he is a great addition, at very low risk, to an already talent corps in Philly. I see them as one of the real teams to fear going into the season.
If they stay healthy
They’re being bit pretty hard by the injury bug so far.
