When to See the Vikings' Pre-Season Games on NFL Network
This season, the NFL Network will be broadcasting 65 NFL pre-season games. Of those 65 games, 12 of them will be live, and one of the live broadcasts will feature our Beloved Purple. Unfortunately, that game will be Minnesota's final pre-season game, so we'll barely see any of the starters and everything should have pretty much been decided by that point, but hey. . .we take what we can get, right?
As we've always done here at DN, we'll have two different "open threads" for the other three pre-season games. . .one for when the game is actually going on live, and one for when the game is shown on the NFL Network again. So, with that, here's the schedule for the pre-season contests. All times are in Central time because, hey, that's what we do here.
Minnesota Vikings at Indianapolis Colts
Game Time - Friday, 14 August, 6:30 PM
NFL Network Re-Broadcast - Saturday, 15 August, 12:00 AM
Kansas City Chiefs at Minnesota Vikings
Game Time - Friday, 21 August, 7:00 PM
NFL Network Re-Broadcast - Friday, 21 August, 10:00 PM (man, that's some quick turn-around)
Minnesota Vikings at Houston Texans
Game Time - Monday, 31 August, 7:00 PM
NFL Network Re-Broadcast - Tuesday, 1 September, 9:00 AM
Dallas Cowboys at Minnesota Vikings
Game Time - Friday, 4 September, 7:00 PM
NFL Network Re-Broadcast - None; game is live on NFL Network
Keep enjoying your Sunday, folks! We should be back with more later on.

SWEET!
Daily Norseman Rocks! Thanks for saving me the research Gonzo!
This post would be better if I wasn't screwed by the refs!
A hand to Gonzo, Thanks
Re-Broadcasting times are key. Harvin gets me excited the way AP did before his rookie season and I will watch every preseason game, just to catch a glimpse.

Yeah, good work Gonzo!
I get excited when they replay last years playoff game, even though they lost..lol. I love me some Vikings football.
I plan to watch all of the 4 preseason games, as well as the re-plays on NFL Network.
Go Vikes!
Time?
Is that re-broadcast game on Saturday, August 15, is that at midnight or at noon? I am on the East Coast so if thats midnight, then I better plan on a long night.
That's midnight
And yeah, it’s gonna be an all-nighter for me, too.

The only thing I care about
in the pre-season is that nobody gets hurt. Keep in mind that we lost Chad Greenway for the season his rookie year in the pre-season opener.

AM means morning. Time starts over every 12hrs from AM to PM so 12:00am is midnight because it follows 11:59pm. Go Colts!!!!
