Packer fans--here is your solution!
I am a diehard fan of our beloved purple living in the heart of packerland and i listen to local sports radio here and there throughout the day. I have to say that in the last few days the hurt, bitterness and downright hatred of your fallen hero has left your quality of life in shambles. You must learn to get over this so you can appreciate the rivalry on the whole new level that it has risen to.
My solution is this---Pair off in two's--simple as that. This way you can each help each other out by pulling out from your cheeks the purple #4 atomic wedgie that was just given to you. Then, and only then, will you be able to scream out "Free at last, Free at last, Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"

Who Cares?
You have AD we have A-Rod the best defense should win and that is only speculative though I imagine the Vikings have the better defense at this moment.
stuff like this
is what i hate about internet discussion boards. I prefer civilized discussion, where we can welcome thoughtful oppositin fans like Ted Simmons Speed Camp, & actually maybe learn something along the way, instead of wasting our time figuratively beating our chests in front of each other, like apes.
Some are sad
But not the majority. I would say more just have realized that Favre isn’t what everyone thought he was for so long. He handled the 07’ offseason fiasco like a teenage girl. He is always waivering about his retirement decisions, and has been for the past 3 years now. He loves the attention and that is pretty obvious. He is pretty full of himself, and the whole world to him revolves around Brett. People are upset because he was the face of the franchise for 17 years, and then goes and signs with our rival team. I don’t necessarily think it was wrong for him to go to the Vikings though. He wants to play football, and they gave him a chance to do so. It is about revenge to him though, because the second he realized we weren’t just going to cave in he wanted to go the Vikings, and was pretty upset when we wouldn’t release him. Then what do you know this year he goes to the Vikings…surprise, surprise.
With that being said I dont care that he is with you guys. We made the right decision in letting him go. He makes you better but I certainly still feel like we can beat you guys.
I doesn’t mind me he is a Vikings. In fact, I kind of wish he was a Viking last year instead of a Jet so I could of seen him play live when I went to Lambeau field to the Pack/Vikes. Favre is still my favorite player, and it’s nice to still see him player. It is a headache though with his retire/unretire stuff. Too be completely honest my 2nd favorite team is the Vikings, thanks to my dad being such a big fan of theirs.
I knew when he signed with the Vikings, Packer fans would be upset, but I didn’t expect to the degree where it felt like the majority of (online) fans were wishing physical harm upon him, I think they need to take a step back and realize this is all just a sport.
He’s got a good set up in Minnesota, your guys offense will be pretty good now, defense has been solid for the past couple of years, although the pass defense still needs to step up a bit. I’ll wish both teams the best of luck this year.
