Triple Threat
Watching TJ and JDB this week and Sage last week, it looks to be a close race for QB roster spot. TJ was 12 for 15 for 202 yards and 2 TDs. Impressive to say the least. JDB was 6 of 8 for 61 yards. I'm was impressed. These performances to top off Sages 10-12 for 93 yards last week. I know it's only preseason, but I'm liking the depth at qb. I hope we can retain all 4 but I know that would be difficult. What does everyone else think? I'm excited and slowly coming to grips with Favre being our QB.

Your going to carry 3 QB’s anyway. Farve may not work out and if he does he probably won’t be around next year. Jackson and Booty continue to improve. Rosenfels is solid as a backup. Keep them all. One spot on the roster big deal. QB’s go down every week in this league. Someone may come calling with a decent offer. Then you can at least get a decent draft pick. You won’t get anything for the last man on a roster. I read someone said a 5th round pick for TJACK. Cmon please. He’s young ,athletic and is getting better all the time.
Have to Agree
I was extremely unhappy earlier this week, with T-Jack and Sage both injured at the same time. Turns out that T-Jack’s recovered but what happens if that’s not the case during regular season? We need a #3 that we can rely on, and as much potential as Booty may have, he’s not there yet.
We need to keep T-Jack and Sage both. Doubtful that Booty can slip to the practice squad so I think the Vikings need to look for space for the man. Else put him to the PS and let the dice fall where they may.
The Vikes need to jump high for a QB in 2010’s draft anyway, we can afford to let the low man on the totem pole go if we absolutely had to, since that man’s going to be let go anyway if we get a top-ranked QB in the draft. What we can’t afford to do is have Favre’s harm fail, and not have adequate backup behind him. Booty isn’t a suitable backup.
Ah, ah,
We come from the land of the ice and snow,
From the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming!
SKOL!
I'm lovin this
I said it before and I still think it is the way to go. Don’t keep fullbacks, Sasser and Dugan do both TE and FB, Thus we can keep 4 RB’s and 4 QB’s maybe an extra WR!!!!!!
